I'm having the Whiteline F/R sway bars with their adjustable endlinks and the ATQ subframe collars/bolts installed in 1.5 weeks, trying to figure out my next mods. I have also picked up a great set of factory front Brembo calipers, so I could pick up rotors and pads to complete that upgrade, or move towards a different performance mod- I find the 2022 GT-Line brakes better than I thought, so I find no need to rush this one and have yet to get the rear Brembo calipers anyway. Whats the opinion of just doing the fronts only for now? Those red Brembos are damn sexy!

Also, I have a set of 19" RTX Envy wheels with 235/40 Continental ECS tires ready to mount in a couple weeks when things get a bit warmer up here in the northeast- factory 18" tires leave a lot to be desired.

Eventually I'd like to get another 50-60 HP and get it to be a solid 5 sec 0-60 AWD car, just not sure exactly how I should proceed to get there with so little aftermarket available for the 2.5T.

Are the available intercoolers bolt-on ready for all 3 engines? I'm leaning towards a moderate Lozic tune....I have access to E85 gas.

Ultimately, I want to do a couple autocross track events a year at nearby Lime Rock, not so much interested in pure straight line performance. This is also my daily driver, so im not interested is pushing everything to 11 either.

JB4 is the go-to tune. :)

If you really plan to autocross, money spent on brakes is a good investment IMO. The Brembo’s up front with good pads, fluid, and stainless lines would definitely be an improvement.

As for the intercooler, the new 2.5T is an air to water intercooler. I’m not sure what limitations it has for moderate gains over stock. Other than swapping the hard parts for a traditional front mount air to air intercooler, I’m not sure what else would be required to delete the air to water setup.

After reading a good bit about the JB4’s, they appear to be a good investment for your power goals. If I remember right, map2 for 93 on an otherwise stock platform was around 40 hp/tq at the wheels. If you have access to E85 I think there is a map for that as well which will net more gains.

^^Thanks, I didn't know the 2.5T intercooler was different than prior designs for the Stinger. I just read that water/air intercoolers are more efficient. I guess I have to assume no intercooler upgrades then? Other than my wife's 2020 Subaru Outback with the 2.4T- no need to tinker with, this is MY first turbo engine.

The inner cooler is liquid cooled so no need for a upgrade also nothing on the market.
I also find the GT line brakes are more than satisfactory. just installed sway bars end links and lowering springs cars planted on the road now flat love it.
I have a JB4 which works great super easy install I would sell for a good price if you're interested & also have a blow off valve for sale. just decided to stay stock under the hood is all but really tames the beast without the mods

Shoot me an email regarding the JB4 pricing/shipping to 12528, I might be interested. I'm coming across a fair amount of positive feedback regarding the Lozic TCU as well, maybe a winning combo for what I'm looking for...

Still running stock plugs? Also I'm interested in the JB4 if you're around the $400 selling price...

Edit: double post

Sold Tks . This one installs on the driver side under the little cover back of a hood by the brake booster and I found the easiest way to run the wire inside was to pull a little boot for the hood latch cable and slip it through there and then it's just too short hookups for the motor for the wiring Yes stock plugs. and you'll download the JB4 app in the Play store.
I have a Google 5 phone with Android 12 and I did have to become a tester in order for the app to work on my phone.

Any issues with stock plugs? Is there an E85 MAP?
Can anyone recommend the right sparkplugs and gapping for the 2.5T please?

TIA

No problem with the stock plugs if you want you can regap them down to 22 I set mine at 24 and you can mix up to 30% of E85 to run a different map.
in California I couldn't buy 93 octane only 91 so mixing that with the 85

Could've bought a 3.3TT, didn't want it. Try modding the 3.3 to get 30mpg, GLWT.

if you going to regap your plugs you need to disconnect the high pressure fuel rail One of the coil packs is in the way it's real easy it's just a snap fitting that you need to depressurize first so just pull sensor number two fuse start your car run in a minute and then you can disconnect it safely, if your car is cold you can do it under pressure but you'll have some fuel spray out

So, you recommend the HKS m45xl heat range 9 spark plugs? and gap them at .022 or .024 ?

Thank you good Sir.

@OP, how many miles on the car? I would wait til at least 5-10K before doing engine modes to ensure full engine break-in and to rule out any factory issues.

Well that's what I did and it worked great technically we don't even have a aftermarket plug out for this motor ,Good to reach out to Burger Motorsports on the forum here or on their website. and I'm not planning on removing them or regapping even without the tuner

Only 2k miles on car, I can wait a couple more months, I'm in no rush. I haven't even done my first oil change yet, but that will be happening in another week or 2

We have some great options for you on our website and we are constantly looking for new items to add for the 2.5T platform. If you ever are looking for something specific, shoot me a message and I will do my best to get it ordered for you.

Got the HKS plugs, having them installed on Thursday along with the JB4, the sub-frame bolts/collars, and first oil change. Can anyone confirm the gap I should go with…0.022 or 0.024? Also, do we have optimum alignment specs for moderately aggressive driving without unusual tire wear?

Thank you boys, you guys ROCK!

PS: Burger recommends reducing the gap to 0.022
