Few people put their money where their mouth is and race. Those that do tend to work pretty hard at it and be pretty humble. This is generally because it's a lot harder than it seems and takes more work/effort than most are willing to go through.
Cant wait for the poured excuses lol.Soooooooo..... He never showed up. I'll be enjoying my conversation with him Tuesday...
Meanwhile I had some great runs. Best was ironically against another Stinger GT. He had an AEM intake, MBRP catback, light weight rim, indy 500 and brake snip switch. There was a previous gen M340i xdrive there too which trapped constant 12.3 ish. Not sure if he modified anything on his car other than his obvious aftermarket exhaust. Unfortunately I never managed to align with him. Other than that, raced an S5, an S4 and a Model Y dual motor with performance boost.
I have attached the run against the Stinger GT w/o any tune. Brake snip is no joke. Also, there was definitely timing issues all day. I think I'll go back ti Map 1 for now.
The Tesla Model Y dual motor with performance boost mentions 4.2-4.3 secs 0-60. Without boost it states 4.7-4.8How did you do against the s4-s5? Not even gonna ask about the Tesla lol. What a d-bag for not showing up. Typical BMW a**hole...don't give him anymore of your time. He had his chance to walk the walk
That's a damn respectable kill there!Got a kill though. A 2021 biturbo C43 AMG
You made this all fun and enjoyable for us either way. 7 Wins are excellent. Also the fact you mentioned you had timing issues too.Honestly I'm disappointed. I was really looking forward for this race. The manager at the track said that it will be open one last time next Sunday if the weather is great. I hope that will be the case and I hope Quitter will be there this time.
I did 10 races I believe, remove one where I ran alone. 3 against the Y model (won 1, lose 2; Y model with performance upgrade is a 12.4s car). 1 against the c43 amg (won), one against the B9 S4 (won), one against an older S5 (won), 3 against the Stinger GT w/o tune/piggyback (all won).
This sucks. The only slips I have right now are those from the Y model race and the Stinger GT. There was a great dude I met there which wanted to check my slips and from what I can see I didn't ask them back since they are nowhere to be found. I remember running in the 12.4-12.5 most of the day, with one run at 12.29, the one against the Stinger GT.
Anyway, I will definitely go purchase some race fuel this week. One person told me exactly where I can purchase some close to where I live. This person had a Stinger GT running high 11s @ map 3 and that's the fuel he was using.
He turtled and won’t come out of his shell to face the music. Clearly a loser, hence the bimmer.@Lashey we are all with you in this story. We want to know about how the next chapter went. What did he say? There shouldn’t be any excuses as he never sent you a text (short of family crises or something).
