Hey gentleman, new guy to forum. New owner of 2021 Stinger GT.. got my first little so called mods of tint and 3M wrap done, now looking to make a little more power.. read all about the jb4 tuner etc, not sure of I wanna possibly mess with my new warranty, as enticing as it sounds but I'm looking to start with the small stuff first. Obviously intake, maybe down pipes and sway bars. Couple questions, what size is the stock exhaust and would new downpipes with say some borla mufflers suffice? Using the rest of the stock exhaust, if I'm correct most turbulence is in the downpipes correct? Also, I think it was BMI cai that I was looking at lastnight, uses parts of the stock airbox, who has real world experience with it or should I go with another brand. I know how gains aren't huge but I also love the sound it will create. Thanks for any info.

I have the BMS intake. So easy to install and no need to remove the lower inbox and no need to remove a lot of hoses.

BMS, my bad.. any increase in throttle response etc? Sound? I like the ease of install and the fact it still utilizes the stock cold air inlets.. also I saw the bms pedal tuner, what's the deal on that?

Sounds so good when your really step on it. You will hear your factory bov. Regarding the pedal tuner, you can adjust how you want the throttle responsiveness.

You're pretty close on mods and the order.... These are JUST my recommendations but they worked for me. Intakes first, tons of options and most are pretty good. A horse or two here or there would be offset by ambient air temps. Just pick a name brand and you'll be OK. I went with Agency. Next, open it up with a cat back, I wouldn't bother with piece mailing a system, new and old, waste of time. Hold off on the down pipes, you need a bunch more HP to actually see the value in that. If you plan on going further, a larger CAI is the next step I would take. Agency is really good but BMS is a really nice one also. .. Pedal tuners are also fun, I was admittedly against them at first but I got one and I love it. More of a novelty fun factor, they DON'T make your car faster. Then JB, Then Meth.
About your concern over the warranty. Truth is if you replace a factory bolt anywhere, the dealer can tie a warranty claim to your mod. So, go all in or just leave it be.. that's my recommendation. Before my trips to the dealer, I unplug the JB, hide my meth tank tube and it's like stock again and they don't say anything. That's the beauty of the pug and play unlike a flash tune, that can be easily found if you have a warranty claim.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I've been hesitant about buying the jb4 tuner. If I can unplug it, then nothing will show up that I messed with the tune? I want to be 100% sure before installing one. For warranty reasons...

So your saying the jb4 isnt traceable so to say? Does it mess with the ecu or is the tube only applied while the unit is plugged in? Cars are like hard drives now, wonder if it logs all that shit?

No trace, it's a piggy back. What that means is it intercepts the signals from can bus and manipulates them on the fly, the ECU has no idea its even there. @Schroedes Map0, built in is Off. No extra boost, just stock, same as if was unplugged.

If you’re worried about warranty. Better not remove your downpipes no downpipes no primary cats = no warranty. Or perhaps are you referring to the secondaries.

As far as exhaust goes its going to really depend on what you are trying to achieve.
