Stricter gun laws only protect CRIMINALS and actually endanger more honest, law-abiding citizens.

If LAWs actually worked, we could make it against the law to shoot people . . . Oh.... that was already done. Nevertheless, you are still more likely to be killed by a medical provider than some "crazy" with a gun.

That "logic" just completely baffles me. Murder is illegal, shooting someone in general is illegal, its illegal to shoot a gun inside city limits, illegal for felons to have a gun at all .... yep another law, that is what will detour the criminal. But hey, IL made ghost guns illegal-er!!

What's also amazing is how people seem to think those with concealed carry licenses are somehow the big threat ..... even though they are crazy low statistically for not just gun related crimes but all violent crimes.

I disagree with this. It's not the platforms that should police this. I know, I know. It's the people involved in this young mans life that need to help. I know, I know. This type of thing is very difficult to stop if someone is focused on doing it. The assumption sometimes is that there are signs and that "T.V. show moment" will happen. There aren't those moments in many cases. There are plenty out there like this guy, he's just one of those who acted on his thoughts. Gun control is not the answer for sure though.

BUT...I do think mental care is needed, not just for folks like this, but for folks who don't know that they need it. I know, I know...how will they get help if they don't know what they don't know about needing help? I come back to the people in their lives giving two shats.
