I have to show my support and appreciation for Sal. I ordered my badges, script, and some other things from the Stinger store, and within an hour, I received an email saying the order had shipped. Not even Amazon is that fast. All the products here hermetically sealed with hyundai's hologram sticker still intact. Normally when you buy "OEM" products from a reseller, it sometimes can be shady if they are actually the real thing. Thank you Sal! I'll have them installed either today or tomorrow and will post pictures in this thread of the finished product.

I've been asking this around the forum looking for answers...do you happen to have the clear bra/wrap on the hood of the car? If so, how do you plan to install the front badge now that it's round and not oval?

Thank you very much for noticing and speaking of my efforts to get products to people as quickly as possible. It almost always goes unnoticed that I provide a tracking number and ship individual orders almost immediately. I'm glad you're happy with your purchase and I appreciate the trust in ordering from me... :)

How does everyone feel about this new 2.0T badge I added .I think it goes well with the black accents and red tail lights.

I'm confused ... a 2.0T with 4 exhausts? :P I think it works ... maybe I'd have mounted it a bit further up to get a bit more distance from the lines of the bent metal around it, if curvature allows?

Lol yea .Maybe could of been a little higher buy I eyed it for a while before deciding and thought it looked best there. I think it looks good. I may miss the stealthy clean look of just the stinger logo down the road but we'll see .

I concur with this. Sal does a great job and should have his own thread where satisfied customers can show their appreciation

Did you wrap the roof also??

I did my clear bra on day 2 of ownership and there is no way the round E badge will fit nicely. The clear bra is within a few mm of the oval badge so adding a round E badge would have the top and bottom over the bra while leaving gaps on the sides. Id also be worried about damage to the bra trying to get the stock emblem off.

Personally and IMHO , why ? let them guess whether it's a debadged GT ? It looks fine but more of a ," keep em guessing " thing I think works better ...............my $.02

Your right .I removed it .I thought the same after adding it .

I was actually able to do my rebadge without touching the clear bra in any way. My new round badge is maybe 1 or 2 millimeters away from the bra. Worked out nicely.

Is that how the bra was "cut" when the oval KIA badge was there?? You look to have a solid 1-1.5 inch of unprotected area on the sides. My clear bra is cut within 1-2mm around the entire oval.

Yeah, that's how the car was delivered. With the oval originally there, there was virtually no empty space, so I guess it was doing it's job. Obviously with the round badge there there will be more unprotected area. Either way, I think I plan to get the front of the car wrapped because of the paint chip issue.

Ahh...was that the Kia Factory Paint Protect Package? Is the hood protected also? My Suntek Ultra covers the entire frontal area of the car, full bump bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors.

Id love to toss the E on the front and wheel caps but i am fearful removal of the oval emblem would damage the bra so will live with the KIA there for now. The big stinger on the back is already there so i can be happy!

I'm not entirely sure, I think it's just the small, basic paint protection package that also protects the bottom of the passengers doors. All the ones at my dealer had it. It's not the "paint protection warranty" thing they try to upsell you on.

How much did you pay for your Suntek? I want to do that or Xpel on the hood. And if you're careful, I'm sure you could do the E badge without damaging the wrap. Or even pay a pro to do it.

Cactus tint did it for me, but prior to the ppf install. I’d ask them if they could do it.

Yep, i went to Cactus based on your recommend and could not be happier. I actually did not think the bra would be cut so close to the emblem so didnt even think twice about it. Once i saw that, i knew the Circle E badge was out. No worries.

On a positive note, the clear bra has already served its purpose in AZ. Two front impacts that would have surely chipped the paint. The only issue i have now is that the clear bra is damaged and it leaves small shadows on the paint below (looks like a dark smudge). This would NOT be an issue on a dark colored car however. In the end, the bra is sacrificial so it did what its supposed to do.

When time comes to replace that particular piece, i reconsider what badges are available.

Most of the quotes for the full front end or some variation thereto ranged between 1400-2500...didnt notice a material difference in price between Suntek or Xpel based on the shops i talked to.
