Back ordered pads

This is the second appearance of that dreaded brake shuddering for me. A while back I had my rotors turned at the dealership which of course fixed that issue for a few months. Now that it is coming back I am really wanting to just get new pads to just move past this issue. I can't find any pads both front and rear I can buy together without having to wait until sometime into next year for them.

Has anyone recently bought some pads that will work with the stock Brembo calipers? I can find plenty of front pads but the rears seem to be not as abundant.

Are you sure you need rear pads as well? The front brakes do the majority of the braking, by far - and almost all instances of 'shudder' occur with the front brakes only.

Unless you know you have issues with the rear, the existing OEM pads will likely continue to provide good performance, and outlast several front replacements. They don't need to be a matched set.

I just have a weird feeling of having pads that aren't matching. Will it change brake bias if I put the ceramic Stoptech's in the front and keep the OEM rears?

Not that you'll likely notice. I have ceramic pads on the front of mine, and braking is nice and consistent. Change over the fronts and you can always do the rears later if you feel it necessary - I doubt that will be the case.

OE is ceramic.
Only confirmed fitting rear pad is the one on national backorder, so yeah. Kinda SOL right now.

Unless you are having problems with the rear I would worry about them until they are worn out. The front do the vast majority of the braking.

There are pads on K8Stinger store(and other places), the only rear pads I have EVER found that fit stock calipers and rotors and they are on backorder until sometime Q1 in the new year.
