Im sure this has been asked multiple times. Can you swap wheels from an AWD to a RWD without fitment issues? No rub issues and and so on. Looking at a set of aftermarkets but they are currently on an awd, and i have a rwd. Thanks in advance

No difference as far as clearance is concerned. (and I've never read anyone ask this question quite that way :P)

Did i ask it funny? And so in all reality i could pull the wheels off the awd, mount them to mine and roll off in to the sunset wth no concern?

AWD -> RWD should never be a problem. There's no difference in fitment / rubbing, other than that RWD MIGHT be 0.25" lower or something - but then, only if you're lowered and are fitting extreme wheels. OEM wheels should ALWAYS fit.

What size of wheels / tires are you trying to swap? I went from 19" 225/255 to 18" 245/285 on AWD and haven't had any issues.

The "funny" part is your assumption that your question had been asked multiple times.

They're the same wheels on the Premium, either way. My understanding is that even the GT wheels, either 18" or 19", will fit on a Base or Premium.

I was actually looking at upsizing to 19" staggered

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Anything that fits a GT will fit any other Stinger. And like was stated, anything on a AWD will fit a RWD no issue. Now, going the other way, from a base Stinger to a GT, will need to take the bigger brakes into consideration and going from RWD-> AWD should either be square or as close as possible to equivalent rolling diameters front and rear, but that's not a concern for what you're asking.

They'll fit with no issue.

Is there any difference between the wheels? I only know of 2 possible types of wheels on a gasoline Stinger:
19" - 225 40 R19, 8.0J x 19 front + 255 35 R19, 8.5J x 19 rear
18" - 225 45 R18, 8.0J x 18 all round
In Europe you can also get a diesel version which comes with 17" but I won't bore you with that.

Thanks for the in depth explanation. I was looking at another members wheels that are up for grabs but didn't want to make an expensive mistake. They are coming off a GT awd so that does help my cause being that i have a premium rwd. Appreciate the insight

Well from the info given since my question, apparently not. Give this a read

I swapped my 2021 AWD wheels with my 2019 RWD staggered wheels no problem. Both wheels were the exact same dimensions. The only difference were the AWD tires were all seasons.A92B50FC-0B14-496D-BF6C-6FE1C488383C.webp

Life must be rough with that pic :)
It definitely could be worse. I only have one of those cars now but I enjoyed the old Stinger until this opportunity presented itself. I just couldn’t pass up the offer Vroom gave me for the old car and the deal I could get on the new car.
