AWD stingers are only 130 mph able

can anyone confirm that AWD stingers even w/ 19 inch summer tires are not able to run over 130 mph.
only RHD are capable

My understanding has been that those equipped with 18" wheels are governed to 130 (could be wrong). Don't know if that applies to the ones we've heard about that mysteriously have been delivered with 18" when they should not have been. But yes...I do know it'll clear 130 in Mexico and other remote places.

I can confirm that's bullshivek. I also believe that salesman needs a new job.

Look at the door card on the car, if the door jam says the car has the 19" staggard wheels you will have the 167mph limit. That's the easiest way to determine what wheel package a specific car came with.

Tork tune does. I think he has it set at 170. Piggies can as well with some wire splicing.

Speed limiters in our cars (and is the case on many others) is based on tire speed ratings. If the 18" standard wheels are all season, they are most likely rated to H (130MPH) or W (149MPH) and the manufacturer sets the speed limiter below the maximum rated speed of the tire. The 19" wheels are Michelin Pilot Sport which I recall being Y rated, good for 186MPH. Even if W rated, good for 168MPH.
