AWD but no summer tires???

I've been going back and forth with a local Kia dealer.
Was looking to get a GT1 with AWD and the 19" summer tires.
Been told that none are available.
And he makes it sound like it's a choice between AWD or 19" summer tires.
But you can't get AWD with 19" summer tires.
I'm in SE Pennsylvania.

Does anyone own a GT1 (or GT2) with AWD and summer tires?
Or are any available in your area?

yes they have awd with 19" summer tires. maybe the car that the dealer has doesn't have the option. it might be a winter model

AWDs w/19s are out there. It's just a question of how far away you want to go - or how patient you are!

So GT1 AWD with 19" wheels OR GT1 AWD 18" wheels with ADA are around.
Now the problem is getting a GT1 AWD with 19" wheels AND Advanced Driver Assist package (ADA).
Never thought ADA would not be available on GT! AWD with 19"s.
Been told by local dealerships that Kia won't even take an order on it.

Stick to your guns to get what you want they're out there I live in California and my dealer made a dealer trade with a dealer up in Portland Oregon so tell your dealer to get off his butt and start looking its their job if they're worth anything . Customer service !

AWD doesnt = winter driving only , it's also for driveability .Most current Porsche 911's are sold with AWD ..............yes extra weight , but better traction and control = driveability .............. the awd system is rear biased up to 80/20 which make for amazing handling under throttle !

Do a autotrader or cars.com search to see what on the market, contact the dealer with the car and make a deal. Make a trip out of it and drive your new Stinger home. A good way to get some miles on it to get past the break in period so you can start having fun with it.

Sounds like your dealer has told you multiple things that aren't true. Might want to find a different dealer.

I have a GT with AWD, 19" and DriverWise. That's the standard GT configuration at most dealers in the Seattle area. My "problem" was I didn't want DriverWise. Luckily, though, I got it (due to lack of choice). The blind spot warning lights in the mirrors are quite handy given how poor the rear visibility is on the Stinger. That's doubly true for myself, as I can only see cars right behind me, looking out the rear view mirror, due to the length of my torso. If I scrunch down, I can see farther back, but that's quite uncomfortable.

One thing I'd check is the stereo, between the GT and GT1. The GT1 has the same stereo as the GT2, but the GT has a lesser one. I don't know how big the difference is, because no dealer had a GT1 with a roof for me to compare (it would be apples to oranges with a sheet of glass on top, versus a roof, and I didn't want the glass). If I really liked the GT1 stereo, I'd have gotten that. From the GT1 to GT2, the only potential advantage I'm aware of is an LSD. The AWD models use what Kia calls "dynamic torque vectoring" which essentially does the same thing, but using independently applied braking to each tire. A mechanical differential does it without wearing down the break pads. However, if the LSD broke, that would be a lot more expensive than break pads. "Dynamic Torque Vectoring" is only available on the AWD models (my FWD Saab's all had that).

*UDPATE: I just found out that the L.S.D is only on RWD cars, so for AWD cars, from the GT through the GT2, it's all the same! The main feature that interested me in the GT2 it didn't even have!*
