Can someone explain. The GT I test drove yesterday was AWD and had 18" wheels and tires. The sticker listed standard 19" and on 2nd column listed 18" wheels and tires $0. If I purchase A AWD stinger do I get both sets or what?. No 19" would be a rip off since cost is the same and AWD is additional cost. The salesman could not answer and looked confused (as with most questions) any help please.
In addition I pointed out a pretty bad scratch on the passenger door and the response was ( HUH) and went on with hiS pre-programed walk around. WHAT!

19s are standard on all GTs. 18s are an option on awd models. If the car you are looking at has 18s on it, that's what it has, they are not going to give you two sets of wheels and tires. Also make sure you are aware that if you get a car with 18s the top speed is limited to 130 instead of 168.

You only get the 18" wheels. It isn't a ripoff, the extra cost for all-wheel drive is paying for the all-wheel drive platform not the wheels. The all-weather tires are a free "upgrade".

I would add to be careful with wheels and tires. If the 140mph speed restriction is a big deal to you then make sure some dealer doesn't swap an 18" wheel car onto 19" wheels and sell it that way. Always check the sticker on the driver's door to see what tires came on the car from the factory if the speed limit matters. If not, it's a washout and you get the tires you wanted. It's just too easy to start swapping wheels around for one customer and then end up with a musical wheels game.

Well I don' like it. Just put all season on the 19s that came on the car.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I did the same. I got the AWD with the 19" wheels and summer performance tires. I put a set of Michelin Pilot A/S 3+ performance all seasons and am selling the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s that came with it. Not easy to sell those, so it's costing me a bit more cause the all-seasons were just under $1k including installation (Tirerack). But that gives me the staggered setup with 19s, and enough performance with the A/S 3+ year round.

That sounds really nice. I like the staggered setup ( and that' not a problem with AWD). Then I would maybe got 20s with summer tires for summer.

I first have to decide if I want AWD or RWD. Thanks all for the answers
