• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australian Stingers and sms text messaging

G'day, with our road tests for our YouTube channel Let's Drive It...yes, bit of a shameless plug, I know...we have found that just about every manufacturer has gone with Apple CarPlay - I am an iPhone user - and it works well across the board, I used to fill up my Bluetooth list with all the cars I was connecting with, but now, just plug the USB cable in, and everything is available.
I saw a couple of people (at least one) mentioned issues with Spotify, I haven't had any problems there.
One question I am interested in hearing everyone's thoughts...Hyundai and Kia have deleted CD players from their audio for a couple of years now, what are your responses to this? I have some favourite CDs that I can no longer use if I am in either brand, it is a little annoying to be honest!
Perhaps as a new thread - what music best fits the Stinger?
Pick-up trucks - nothing sounds better than Johnny Cash, maybe Willy Nelson, Mustang - gotta be 60s surf music, what is your first choice when you are out driving?
Don't forget Brisbaneites, Gary Worrall from Let's Drive It will be at Munchies on Friday night, March 2, from 6.30pm with a Deep Chroma Blue 330Si press car, thanks to KMAu, why not come say gday?
Elizabeth St Shopping Centre, corner Beaudesert Rd, Acacia Ridge
From 6.30pm
Grab a coffee from Acacia Espresso Bar, Tyson makes a killer Butterscotch Latte, and the milkshakes are good as well!

I miss the CD player but we have already started a thread about your favourite music. Have a look around and add your favourite music .

Oh ?.. and welcome aboard fellow Aussie!

Thanks...I am fortunate in my job, I get to drive lots of new releases, it is interesting to see where the similarities are, as well as the differences.
As well as the 330Si we have right now, I am waiting for a 200S to arrive late this month, so stay tuned for word on that one as well.
I have just handed back a Sorrento 2.2 diesel AWD, it was a lot of car, and will get it into some interesting places, and, more importantly, get back out again...
But, no CD player meant not listening to David Gilmour's superb Rattle That Lock, although I have downloaded Roger Waters via Spotify, plus the whole Pink Floyd back catalogue, so it is swings and roundabouts!
After one day of driving, must say I am very pleasantly surprised, but not unexpectedly so, at the dynamic abilities of the Stinger. I have watched Kia lift, firstly under the watchful eye of Peter Schreyer, from an also-ran to a genuine contender.
The first sign was the Magentis, then the upgraded Cerato, the only thing they need now is a dual cab ute (I have made that suggestion) and they will be able to go head-to-head with any manufacturer.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
