Totally understand. I recently sold my wrx- had it for years on standard springs and the difference was amazing after putting in coil overs. My mate who owns a Stinger is trying to convince me to lower mine. Lol as I said to him, I’m going to wait till I get the car before I start considering mods
Start with front & rear sway bars only, I say it all the time, best mod you can do to this car for the price, IMHO the car is low enough for NSW roads but that’s a personal thing & everyone’s taste differs.
With your figures above are you saying you are paying $60438 all up for the car with all those extras? I’m in the process now of waiting for delivery and now thinking I did not bargain hard enough.
Sorry I have been MIA last few weeks, been traveling on the road Alice to Newcastle and back.
Yes the deal I have been given is not bad at all, considering they are also delivering the car to Alice for me. However my wife and I are reconsidering our choice of vehicle. Not because the Stinger is a bad car but probably not the best choice for us here in Alice. We need a car that can go long distances without the need to constantly fill up, our current SUV can do 1600 kms without the need to refuel and that gets us past all the price gouging outback roadhouses. If the Stinger could accommodate a long range tank then that would change things but I don't think that is an available option at the moment and probably wont ever be as there would not be much of a demand for one I wouldn't think except for people like us who live in remote regions.
Anyway I am sure you will love your Stinger when you get it.
Say in ain't so. Yes the fuel tank is to small for a large car, but 1600 k's between drinks? You could use multiple Jerry cans the boot is large. Alice to Newcastle that's a hell of a drive. I think you need a diesel 4wd.

We have one but it has done 425000 kms since new, still going strong but it is also 12 years old now so maintenance cost are starting to mount up. It will need new injectors soon.
We drive Alice to Port Stephens return probably 2 or 3 times a year and have done for the past 25 years, it has been interesting to see how towns change over that period of time. We also do several trips to Adelaide each year.
We really had our hearts set on the Stinger but in reality I think we need to look at a LC200.
