Aussie Kia Seltos

Yesterday I passed by my local Kia dealership, and they had 5 Seltos vehicles outside, and " Yes " that's my finger..

Nice alloy wheels on this top spec Seltos, yet the Seltos in the photo below must be a base spec version, because I haven't seen any new vehicle lately that still comes with steel rims and plastic hubcaps.

I also checked out the holding yard, not too far away, there was one blue Seltos, no Stinger in sight or at the showroom.

Yes the base S comes with steel wheels. Pet hate of mine. You think they could find some small size cheap alloys. Surely wouldn't cost that much. The alloys do look nice on the higher spec models.

I like them, I sat in one at the local showroom a few weeks back. They are a tad smaller than the Sportage I think.
I guess that's why they are popular......small SUV.

Saw another today at 3:40pm at the intersection of Christie's Rd and Bellerine hwy, White colour this time.

No, I wish lol, just talking to the salesman , we spoke about the Stinger and then he was telling me how popular the Seltos is and advised I could sit inside if I wanted to. I told hubby about it. Hoping one day when he trades in his Cerato he may be interested but he likes the Cerato's.

Two of his mates have recently bought Kia's, one bought a Sportage GT for his wife and another was picking up, again for his wife a little Rio GT just today. It's great to see people jumping into Kia's.

My Dealership told me the Seltos was selling so well as soon as they get in their sold.
But I don't think he meant " flying out the window " so literally.......

I think the saying is "Flying out the door." Which is what they are definitely doing over there. I suppose you will able to buy some discounted specials now in Mumbai.

Disappointed in Seltos GT for the price. So many cheap features e.g. no dual zone a/c, fake dual exhausts/ blanked out, map pockets on rear of only one seat, no remote start. And heaps more features excluded from Australian car.

Very expensive for what it is in GT form. You can buy a base Toyota Kluger for almost the same price and that is a seven seat large SUV.

Back in March 2020 the Seltos GT was missing dual zone a/c and had fake dual exhausts/ blanked out, map pockets on rear of only one seat, no remote start. And heaps more features excluded from Australian car compared to Asian version.

Yes my mistake, it is the Stinger that does not have remote start
