weather here in Michigan is finally getting nice. I finally got to hand wax my car and found several of these through out the car. It seems like it's under the clear coat.
Has anyone seen this on your car? What is this...

That's odd looking. You say, "seems like it's under the clear coat." You need to determine this by trying to buff it out. It could easily be a crazed or hazed spot on the surface of the clear coat.

From the photo it looks like water spotting. Hard to tell.

Can't tell from the picture. Are there spider web looking things under that spot (they don't go away after compounding)? If there are, head over to the dealer and get a repaint. When there is 'webbing' under the clear it means the clear coat and the paint don't have a proper bond.

I first noted on these blue spot back in April and I contacted Kia in June to have these checked out.
I am still waiting on regional manager to visit near-by dealership to get it reviewed by him.
These blue marks are turning into bigger problem. The ones in the second picture used to be plain blue dots like the ones from the first picture.
My guess is that these blue spots are some sort of chemical contaminants and causes poor adhesion between color coat and clear coat.
Has anyone seen something like this on their aurora black Stingers?

Can you update us with current pics?

Those two pictures I posted are the latest pictures. It started with blue dots like first pictures and only few of them turned into brown color like the second picture.

Oh. Weird, the pic attachments didn't show up in your post at my end (at first, they're there now). But then they showed up as links in your post copied to my response. If those are the same spots a few months later then that is definitely some kind of chemically induced degradation going on. What will Kia say to that? If only this didn't have to take so long!
