This is true! Back in 1920 it took 22.5 liters as a v12 to make 435hp now a turbo 3.0 with hald the cylinders can do that easy

An A4 is a mere snack for a Stinger GT.oooooooooooooooooooo good job and great kill cowboy!
They're solid fun cars those S4's though! Any guess on his year and mods though?![]()

I find it bananas how much faster a regular A3 or A4 (AWD not FWD) gets with just a simple tune though. But yes, a stock A4 isn't really much of a contender in a straight-line against a 3.3 Stinger. An A4 is a mere snack for a Stinger GT.
Omg it is insane to me that you can option up an S4 to 80K out the door.!My coworker recently picked up a 2021 Audi S4 with all the options on it. Cost him damn near $80k he claims after finance.
We lined up coming out of Denver and let it rip from a 30 roll. I think hes a little dissapointed his $80k S4 didn't just walk away from my $35k GT Stinger. I think I lost half a car length in a rough 1/4 mile.
I'll say this, the new S4's exhaust system sounds AMAZING! I haven't heard a turbo'd 6 piped that good from the factory since the C43 with active exhaust. Damn fine car.
That is exactly the targeted competition that Kia attacked with the fully-optioned Stinger.Omg it is insane to me that you can option up an S4 to 80K out the door.!

The friend is an idiot. Sorry. There is no way a 2021 S4 can be optioned for $80k out the door. Did he buy perhaps prepaid maintenance for ten years along with a ten year bumper to bumper warranty? I'm not seeing it. One second going to check out the Audi website...Omg it is insane to me that you can option up an S4 to 80K out the door.!

EDIT: Looks like I got to right under $70k and that's with every expensive option I am allowed to pick that doesn't remove other expensive options. lmfao

This is why I went with a Stinger. Although you can "get" a BMW 4 GC or A5/S5 for the "base price", the standard options on the Stinger like ACC, blind spot, display/nav, leather and leather-dash/trim, and on and on are all stuff you have to pay for on the BMW and Audi and they engineer these packages so for the one thing you want, you gotta tack on a huge expensive package with a lot of stuff you don't need. Every car maker does this, but the germans have it down to a fine art. The price difference between these cars is pretty huge when you equip them similarly.Omg it is insane to me that you can option up an S4 to 80K out the door.!
I got an S5 up to 73K, that's really the better competitor for the Stinger as far as equivalent model.
The options at those levels are a marginal to insignificant "improvement" IMO. The dash on my BMW was plastic, that was my point. It wasn't trimmed out nicely like the Stinger, in addition to other parts of the car. At the same pricepoint or a little more, the German car is essentially "stripped out" comparatively IME.That's just plain bull. It would probably cost closer to $58-60k to equip an S5 to the level of an AWD GT2. That's $58k vs $55k (or $56k for the tippy-top of the line Stinger (Scorpion Edition)).
At $73k you're getting everything the Stinger offers plus a whole host of crap that isn't even available--Custom paint, dynamic steering, thoracic airbags (you really piled on the options with that doozy), wireless carplay, leather/alcantara interior, phone signal booster, virtual cockpit, laser headlights, "animating" lights, yada yada, etc etc.
A GT2 is not equivalent to a $73k S5.
Btw, are you sure the Stinger's dash is leather? I don't think that's a thing. It's probably vinyl. Leather dashes are expensive options.
