Ark vs eibach 2018 gt LTD awd

It’s maddening to see a disparity between how some 3.3 AWDs look with the Arks vs others.

Some clearly dropped 1.5 (JDMMAN). While others (soulevo8) it is barely noticeable (less than an inch).

Difficult to make a decision not knowing exactly what you’re gonna get.

I think it's the same drop. Camera angle, wheel and tire setup could be a factor. I wamseen so many videos of awd stingers and g70s stock even look different to me.

Surface angle is a big factor as well. Got my Eibachs installed Friday, have yet to be parked on a level surface so I can get good pics. None in my neighborhood.

How many hours are these shops charging for install?
I think 2-4 hours just for the springs. My shop was a hair over 4, first time they've ever done a Stinger so there was a little bit of a learning curb. Springs, sways, end-links, charged out about 7 hours I think. I bet they could do it all in 5 if they had to do it again.

Mine was 5. Same as others have mentioned...new model, no knowledge. I gather it ended up being over 5 in actuality, with most of that on the fronts.

So, Eibach springs, a few days settled, on a flat. I think it's fine.

Looks Good!

What did the shop charge you to install these?
Springs, 600-something. Add alignment and tax (10% here), $800-something.

Holy Sh#t!!!!!

I got quoted by a local shop $270.
Apparently front is a megabitch. They quoted and charged 5 hours, I think it actually took longer. But...no creased bodywork, no wheel arch scratches....worth a bit there.

I take you word on it. I had a feeling. I think they quoted me not knowing the work the fronts will take. My main concern is getting scratches on the fender when removing the front struts. I was reading that you have to compress the spring before removing them strut assembly from the car to clear the fender.

Looks like the rest. Slightly bigger gap in the front.

On mine I can't get one finger between the the tire and rear arch. In the front I can fit my thumb.

Still looks good though. Way better than the stock 4x4 look.
