Saw on another fourm you guys announced your working on catless downpipes.

Question 1. Is it just a secondary cat delete?

Question 2. What do you guys expect the MSRP to be?

Question 3. ETA for release date?

Question 4. Will there be dyno sheets for the increased power? I ask as the ARK GRiP cat back had none.

Question 1. Is it just a secondary cat delete? Our downpipes will delete just the secondary cats.

Question 2. What do you guys expect the MSRP to be? TBD, as soon as we have pricing I will let you know.

Question 3. ETA for release date? Should be available in December

Question 4. Will there be dyno sheets for the increased power? I ask as the ARK GRiP cat back had none.
Yes, we will. We like to dyno once we receive the final production.

What about a dyno for the GRiP exhaust?

Any update on this? Did Ark cancel the project?

If they havent respond I wouldnt hold your breath. Its a shame since alot of people have bought the exhaust.

Its 10 hp best i can tell. I dynod at 353hp stock with ark grip and 2 other full stock stingers on the same dyno did 343. So unless my car was high or low to start with its 10 hp.

Do secondary downpipes increase the sound with OEM catback? can it create any kind of drone?

Ive got a pretty good idea why they didn't come back. My butt dyno felt it was loosing some horses.

Unprompted my exhaust specialist who drove my car to, and was trying to fix the vibration and drone he asked me if i thought the car was down on power with the ark . Since his alterations im sure its back up.

People with the Ark cat back said that adding downpipes got rid of most of the drone at lower RPMS

You have ark down pipe or cat back?

Cat back. But now I've had it modified as you may have read, Mid pipe changed & moved further to the front and the installation of 2 extra resonators. So far its working its killed most of the vibration and probably another 20% of the drone. The specialist said when its "carboned up" it will be even more effective. The exhaust note is more refined no raspyness just Brmmm lol.

Do you have a picture of your added resonators?
I swapped the ark mufflers for flowmaster dbx.

Thanks, So you lost the long drone tubes and the Ark H and X pipes and all or half of the Ark mid pipe? How is the drone now?

The Ark Hemholtz resonator tubes are still there they are not in shot but down near the mufflers out of view. Yes he reused the midpipe and modified it he also decreased the air flow at the cross over point as he said the system required more back pressure he felt the increased flow was part of the drone issue. I've got to say the car is a joy to drive.

Drone much decreased. But it was the vibration that was a killer previously, not anymore.

I didn't have the vibration issue but the stock Ark did have too much drone for me. My muffler swap seems simple compared to your mods (but was still about $500 US). Swapping the muffler knocked down volume and drone by about 25%. I'm not a believer in needing back pressure but it does require some to knock down the sound / drone.
