Wondering if any of you installed Twin BOV my dealership has a customized GT2 they wrapped installed K&N instakes on and twin BOV. It sounds awesome and they're telling me I can get them installed without voiding warranty IF I allow them to do the labor. They quoted me $1019 for the BOV's with flanges and $120 for labor. Sounds slightly high though but I wouldn't need to worry about warranty voiding. What do you guys think? Here's their custom build:

Sounds nice! if you don't care about the money and want the warranty, I say go for it. Cause I would if I have the money.

In my opinion the stock blow offs sound better with the k&n intakes.

Do you happen to know of any vids showcasing the blow off sound from just the intakes?

And it looks like a stingeehaus build. Which is why they are stating it dowsnt void warranty.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thank you!!! I'll be skipping Bov and going just intakes by k and n.

With stock turbos and piping or without upping the boost pressure significantly is there any benefit to a BOV vs the stock recirculating valves?

Nice! you're right it is sounds better with K&N Intakes. got a questions if we install the K&N Intakes do we need to tune the car for it or it won't do any harm to our engine? just curious. cause this is my daily!

No tune needed. You can unplug the battery during install to reset the computer. It will learn to adjust to the added air on it's own quicker.

Just a heads up to anyone who modifies their car, if the dealer says it wont void your warranty, get it in writing, i have had 2 dealers here in socal tell me anything aftermarket even if it is sold and installed by kia dealers is still "at my own risk" and wont be covered unless stated by kia.

Is it necessary to unplug the battery? I did the install without unplugging the battery, will it eventually adjust?

Leave the car alone ,When I see a car with this stuff on it ,it tells me Its been run and not in a good way .

Removing the battery fuse, will do the job too...."been there, do that"...the ECU relearning process is more fast than not unplug the battery or the battery fuse.....
