Is this just the butt dyno being used to the power? Or am I really down on power probably? The RPM tach moves so much slower than I remember. My guess is I'm just used to the power and itching to do spark plugs+intake+JB4? That should be pretty noticeable right?

I was wondering if anyone else felt this after they first bought the Stinger GT.

Yes. But only after months, not a mere shmere week! Lol!

You lose 1 hp a day. Unless you add stickers. Lots of stickers.

I only felt like I was losing power after switching from Map 3 back down to Map 2!

Make sure you're switching the drive mode back to Sport, since it reverts to Comfort on restart.

Reset the ecu. Prob got some bad adaptives.

TBH you get numb to power, at one point I was numb to 700+whp because I drove it every single day and it took 1000whp for me to get excited.

Wake her up with the following.
Tork Tune
Tork Intake
Spark plugs
JB4
JB4 meth

Thats a solid 11 second car.

Was looking around for this - what's the quickest way to reset the ECU? Is there any other way besides disconnecting the battery? With generic OBD2-bluetooth + Torque/OBD2 app? Or jb4 + bluetooth (to be installed soon)? Or is the battery disconnect the only way?

Damn it lol. I used to have to pull my Challenger RT's adaptive fuse every week or so because of these stupid computers. Is it as easy as a fuse in the Stinger??

I just open the hood, lock the car, wait 5 mins then unplug the ecu, driver side near the wippers under the triangle plastic piece. Leave un plugged 30 mins.
Don't need to reset unless you are changing maps or got bad gas.

I use the same octane from the same gas station.

Car still pulls pretty goo, feels just as fast as the first day.

Lol. Its your brain getting used to the good life. Now you chase the rabbit down the rabbit hole by tuning =D Your gonna chase that high until you wreck your 50k investment, or blow the motor. Exciting isn't it?

It's most likely the curse of the butt dyno. This is one of the reasons why I drag out my builds over time and do the tune last. That way each time you change a component you can enjoy the car all over again for another few months and once you start getting bored or used to it then it is time to add or modify a component.

I would be happy to set you up with a discount on an upgrade from the K8 Stinger Store. The JB4 and HKS spark plugs will definitely yield huge gains in power if that is what you are after right now and we carry both of those items here as well.

Wouldn't unplugging negative battery terminal for 30 min also do trick?

Appreciate it. Already on my list, just waiting for payday. I was debating between intake first, or spark plugs+JB4. Problem with plugs is I'll have to pay between 150-200 to install. I'm not gonna risk messing up install, not worth it. Plus I don't know how to regap myself to .22. What kind of discount?

PS... I tried launch control for first time and Jesus it feels night and day faster. Threw me into my seat pretty hard. Honestly based on butt Dyno I'd wager it's at least a second faster 0-60 with launch control. Mine is the AWD model.

Yeah the first time I did launch control I had 600 miles on the ODO. It was really surprising how much tq it had. I gaped the hell out of my buddy's new M3 from the start really hard. He ended up catching up though, but still the launch control in this car deserves credit.

I just don't get why the manual while teaching you how go use launch control also reminds you that using launch control can basically break your transmission. Like you'd think a car would only have features it can handle no?

Yes that works too but takes longer and then you have to reset your radio stations.
I also had my rear hatch forget what position it was in (stuck open) which took an hour to figure out how to reset.

Plugs are pretty simple. I think Terry has a video on how to regap using their tool, or you can be a cheap ass like me and just use a big C-clamp.

Where are you located? Might be someone nearby who'd help ya.
