Any reviews of Eibach Sway Bars only?

rear only or both? When you say dealer you mean actual Kia dealership did it? I would assume then that your warranty is still good after getting the car modified?
Did you buy the sway bar and take it to them?
What was the difference like after it was done? I’m keen on springs too
For me the swaybar upgrade is the best mod you can do, they make a huge difference in cornering & acceleration.
I purchased the Eibach Swaybars & my dealer fitted them.
IMHO, once you do the swaybars you won’t need springs unless your looking for the lowered look.

Both fitted by a KIA dealer and warranty is unaffected. I supplied the parts which were sourced through a group buy. Afterwards the car felt more firmly planted particularly in the rear. Give John at Eibach Sydney a call and mention this forum and he may be able to do you a good price on parts.

Should take no more than 2 hours to have front & rear installed, as @ShannonC said my dealer also did mine.
What State/City are you in, go & have a chat to your dealer, also ask a reputable suspension shop in your area.
I’m in Wollongong nsw. I’ll go see Kia dealer and talk to them. I’ve already spoken to pedders and my mechanic about springs. Just deciding which would be better to get. I like lowered springs mainly for looks but hear the sway bar makes such a difference to handling.
I have about 1k budget so springs and both sway bars will be over

If you go Eibach Swaybars get them set on “softest” setting this is normal road use.
For springs you should look at H&R brand to suit RWD, example or RWD set & part number.
H&r Lowering Springs for Kia Stinger 2WD Type Ck 30/30mm 28701-2 | eBay.
The swaybars make a big difference in handling, for me & my driving style it was like night & day, I also have Whiteline Heavy Duty Endlinks fitted as well, for me personally these just lift the handling to another level.

Thanks mate. I’m thinking just the rear sway bar initially and see if that is enough to satisfy me. I heard that eibach make rwd springs now? I know they always fitted but apparently they were made for awd. I could be wrong. I have heard H&R springs r good for the rwd though.
If I stretch the budget I might get away with rear sway and springs

It’s the Eibach Springs to RWD, well I’m not sure on that.
I did both sways to maintain balance, but some have just done rears or fronts so it’s whatever suits individual driving styles.
Yes I read up on springs & if I was going to lower (which I’m not) my car H&R RWD set would be my choice.
You may get a rear bar & a set of springs supplied & fitted for 1K.

I know your in the Gong, but have a look up back in Sydney, just searched & found these guys, (no nothing about them) they maybe worth a call as they look like they sell H&R product & just get your swaybar from Eibach.

Thanks mate I’ve sent them an email to give me a price. Pedders wanted $1200 for supply and fit springs that are their own brand? Then my mechanic said about $900 but I haven’t confirmed what brand he will use. Think it would be closer to $1500 for sway bar and springs installed.

No problem, personally I would give Pedders a miss, they are franchised, charge too much & if the owners aren’t really car guys then your experience may not be that good.

What do we know about superpro and their sway bar kit? It comes with sway bar links and bushings. Designed and made in Australia.

I don’t know that much about them, but I have been told they are not bad products.
I don’t know of anyone who has them fitted in Stingers though.
Best bet would to google reviews, maybe other forums ie Subaru etc. have reviews on them.

These are the guys who fitted my Whiteline End Links, they also sell Superpro products, unfortunately they are in Penrith.

hmmm interesting. It looks like they have only recently designed them to fit the stinger. I’m interested in the fact they come with improved bushings and links. Aussie made too is nice.

Well do some research, ask questions on the product quality, I do note they give lifetime warranty. You could be the Superpro pioneer for the Stinger.

Haha they seem like a well established and reputable company. Will speak to some people tomorrow and make a decision on what suspension setup to go with. Appreciate the help!

yep lifetime warranty and the company appears to be quite reputable and professional. Website is excellent and they have a large range for all vehicles.
I noticed that it does say 5hrs fitment time which is considerably longer then what I’ve been advised on here that it takes to install the eibach. Possibly due to having to setup the sway bar links and change the bushings? This will no doubt add to overall costs.
Interestingly it says the following:
From all our testing we recommend as a good starting point:
Stage one: set both bars to hardest setting and is ideally suited to vehicles with standard suspension, wheels and tyres.
Stage two: set front bar to soft setting and rear to hardest and is ideally suited to a vehicle with lowered springs or with larger wider wheels and tyres.
Stage three: set both bars to soft ideally suited to a car with Coilovers or sports suspension pack.
Does our stinger fall into 1 or 2? The car does have wider wheels and tyres at the rear and I would imagine the stingers standard suspension is slightly lower then other cars.

That was/is my campaign: try the rear bar first, on soft. I'm still "trying" it, going on a year and a half later. I like the ride and handling as it is now. So, I've not sprung for the front Eibach sway bar. End links? I have no clue. Since the way I drive the car is satisfied with the more "buttoned down" feel in the rear that the rear Eibach gave it (on soft), I have not considered doing anything further.

(And I responded to this post to say that much, and to watch it; another sway bar thread that I didn't ever see until this morning. Heh!:P)

My swaybars are both set to softest setting for normal road driving as per Eibach installation guide.
I am on OE springs with 19” wheels but tyres are 245 & 275 the car feels more planted & secure especially when cornering at speed.

Eibach is a trusted brand and has a proven product. It's also the most commonly fitted to Stingers worldwide. I can't really comment on other brands only to say I've heard of them.
When I was looking at installers I went to a local and well know suspension specialist for a quote but couldn't obtain anything as they had no idea how long to fit.
I was more than happy to have the Dealer fit them and was in the workshop through most of the process. The front is really easy and should take no longer than 30 minutes. The rear is more complex as access to fixings is restrictive and could take anything from 1 to 2 hours depending on installer expertise. If you can, I would suggest going with a place that has previously done a Stinger.
Both bars on soft setting seems to be the most popular and it most likely complements the differing drive modes better.

I've already paid and committed to another supplier at roughly $200 less than what Tirerack wanted to charge me to ship to Canada.
Hey, Where did you end up picking up the Sway bar and who installed in GTA?
