Another reason I don't like Sirius/XM

It will go away in a much shorter time than a month.
Actually, it went away yesterday! I'm not going to be surprised if it comes back again, though.

I like the idea of satellite radio, but SXM is such a horrible company to be a customer of that I refuse to ever subscribe with them again. I hate that you have to call every few months to get a price break, and just wait until you decide to cancel - it's a painful, 45 minute phone call - unlike every other streaming-type media service where you can do it online in a few seconds. As a former, paying customer, SXM did a fabulous job at making sure I'll never be a customer again.
I agree. And they have to have the worst accounting department of any company anywhere on Earth. They can screw up your account worse than a circus full of monkeys, and it takes months to ever get it straight again. And their customer service ...

Protip: never pay full price for SXM. Insist that you aren't going to renew (or that you're going to cancel) and they'll offer you 6 months for $30. Every. Time.

Up to 10 times total on the same account. Ask me how I know.

How do you know?

Sirius shut me down on the 11th attempt of The Cancel Technique. You can still get discount/special pricing on new adds, but you will lose on a renewal.

Finally got my 6 for $30 offer today. Better late than never.

LOL! I figured that would trigger someone. No offense intended.
I agree with you. When I Satellite radio, I only listen to the classical station, if I must. When the borderline mindlessness of Mozart inevitably bores me, only the fine programming of NPR can fill my ear canals. I also have my tone levels set to 0 bass and 0 treble like a true connesiour of conversation radio, I prefer the more monotone presenters. I've also found the stinger cup holders are perfect for my caviar sampling dishes

I only use paddle shifters with pinkies out.

If anyone wants a $50 3rd Gen Amazon Echo Dot and XM now's the time to renew.

This one is costing me one dollar.
