Actually it’s probably been discussed before but has anyone figured out a solution for the creaky arm rest? I heard the alcantara arm rest is a better replacement but I don’t like the idea as that being the only material in my car.

I'm keen to know this too. I wondered if my creaking centre armrest was unique to my car - but given this forum topic, I guess not!

What creak are yall getting?
Do yall get a clicking sound when yall close your arm rest storage? If i open it all the way then close it i get a clickin sound right before it closes

My armrest creaks as well. I got my right-angle screwdriver hoping I could just tighten the 2 screws towards the rear of the armrest, but the armrest hinges keep me from accessing the 2 screws. I'll just ask my local dealer if they can tighten things up, my service is coming up anyway.

The creaking is caused by the plastic on under the lid pressing tight against the metal part of the hinges. If you take an exact knife and cut the plastic away from the metal it will no longer be able to touch and creak. Did this to mine and it totally got rid of the problem. I also put some stick on felt tape on the plastic where it touches the opening of the arm rest along both sides for good measure.

It's not secured tightly to the floor
