It does not change the look of AA.does it make AA widescreen?
I thought you could change the DPI settings to a point it enables widescreen? It does not change the look of AA.
Its not just about the bandwidth, its about the compression/loss of data that Bluetooth natively performs. Current Bluetooth standards can send the music from phone to stereo without the compression/loss, but requires both ends to have the codec and accept it.
I'm fairly picky as well (hobbyist music producer and surround music listener), and know of the BT compression you're referring and it's a non issue streaming MP3s from my Samsung 10 to the Stinger. I have heard this artifacting in prior BT implementations, so apparently I have compatible phone/Stinger in my favor.
As I've also said in other threads on this forum, with road noise being fairly high in the Stinger, there's a point in which the details gained from higher bitrate/resolution audio is lost/drowned out. FLAC/WAV is a waste IMO unless driving in a vacuum (like Mercedes or Bentley).
I also have a 128gb thumb drive filled with mp3 music that I use in my Stinger. One downside for me is you have to unplug it and plug your phone in if you want to use Android Auto or Apple Carplay.Did a little experiment today, A/B an album I know well using the same MP3 files over BT and off a thumb drive, and the straight thumb drive playback might be a little deeper bass and crisper highs. Might be. Since I haven't needed to plugin my phone over usb in months, I'm going to roll with playing mp3s off the thumb drive for a bit.
Which I'm finding I almost never use (at least haven't in probably 3+ months now). One downside for me is you have to unplug it and plug your phone in if you want to use Android Auto or Apple Carplay.
Yeah me too, the update they sent out today didn't seem to say anything about it either unless I just missed it.I'd love to get my June delivery AA Wireless dongle anytime now. Still have yet to hear from them of it being shipped.
The lastest update today said they secured 16k new CPU and WiFi chips so they can have the factory produce more dongles. My guess is its at least another 2-3 weeks before they get shipped unless the factory can pump out 16k finished dongle units in a week or less time.Yeah me too, the update they sent out today didn't seem to say anything about it either unless I just missed it.
New update today, they are finally starting production on more new units at the end of next week. So guess I was overconfident on my guess as to when we get our June units. The lastest update today said they secured 16k new CPU and WiFi chips so they can have the factory produce more dongles. Whatever factory these guys use is super slow. They said production would start the week of September 5th and their latest update yesterday they will only have 5k units built and shipped after 3 weeks of production time. Then the factory goes on holiday for the entire first week of October. They still have 11k units to be made after that so based on how slow this is going. Those last 11k units production won't be done until well into November.New update today, they are finally starting production on more new units at the end of next week.
