Android Auto: Phones that are confirmed to work properly?

I had a Samsung Galaxy S9+ that worked perfectly, then I got the S10+ and had some issues for a couple months but is working fine now.

All good with my Sony XZ1 & Samsung S8

Galaxy S8 and LG G6 both work for me.

That is funny, I have an x4 as well! I have that constant 'phone has stopped responding' thing where the head unit goes nuts flashing that a million times too. However, I do not think it is the phone, but the car. Reason I say that is I drove a Dodge Charger and a Chevy Cruze for 3 months recently and had no problems at all with AA. When I go back to the Stinger, boom, disconnections galore. My wife uses her phone too, an LG, and it has the same exact issues, disconnects like crazy. However, never happened in the other two cars. Not once. The other cars also just had a much more seamless integration with AA. Never had the hangups when using Maps or music, etc. The Kia is just super slow.

That "phone is not responding/reading USB" thing where it flashes between those two messages like 5 times per second is certainly one of the problems I have with it. Most of the other issues I've been able to fix over time with all of the other tricks like clearing the cache, cleaning out the charge port, etc.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Yep, that is exactly what I have happen too. Drives me crazy. But never an issue in other cars. Just the Stinger. Same for my wife's phone, like I said. No problem except when she connects to my car.

No issues at all with my Samsung Galaxy S10+. I had some issues with my S9 in a different car with AA. Not sure what the issue was, could never solve it honestly until I got a new phone.
My S9 worked great in the Stinger. Unfortunately it went down WestcoastGT's water well:cry:. Now I just get the privilege of paying for it for the next 18 months so I'm back to my old 5 Neo that's not so good.

S10+ was unbearably slow before the recent UI revamp, but it's fantastic now.
