(also) Sold my stinger

Too bad Kia's upcoming sport/coupe crossover with Taycan level of performance won't be ready for another year or so.

But when you get the Merc, enjoy your new ride!

The Stinger is being a harder sell in Europe these days without a hybrid variant, much less a full electric.

Cost of purchase and running the Stinger is Sweden is higher than most other countries.

The 2.2 diesel was never befitting something like the Stinger (it's perfectly fine for the Sportage), but warrant that we won't ever see the 3.0 I6 diesel in the Stinger as Europe has really been moving away from diesel.
I sold mine @ $39K after 13 months, netting a devalue of 10933 over the time of ownership.
The dealership even came to my place to pick it up :D

I'll be more or less forced to have my merc for 3 years since its a company lease. Unless i drive alot and hit the 75,000km earlier.
But i estimate saving around $600/month just in gas since i will start drive ALOT more at work.

You will be saving money on fuel but you will be losing a lot more in driving enjoyment. An electric Mercedes SUV. Whichever way you cut it ...YUK.

Maybe, maybe not. It'll be an heavy car tho.
If i wouldnt start to drive alot in work, i would kept the Stinger.
But having the car in the 10000km service at worst, every 2 months, to an increasing cost each time (more or less depending on what they do), takes the fun out of it.
I owned the Stinger roughly 13 months, and had like 2600 km left to the 4th service of the car.

Fair call. Big distances driving to work then. The 10000km service interval of the Stinger can be a pain.

Every 30K miles, c. $750, I think that's not asking too much.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
