Not that i hated it, regretted buying it or anything, i would loved to keep it.
But i can only afford one car in my life currently.

And since (as a consultant) my current contract got canceled and i might have to start weekly travel for work, putting all these miles and miles on a boring highway and
the short interval of services, i would look at worst, be in the 10k km service every 2 month's..

The upside, i got $39k USD cash (minus the small 9k$ish credit left on the car).

the Jb4 is to be sold separate for ~$574 USD, so thats some extra money, still got the BMS intakes and the OCC (from the trim kit by/via sal).
Best part is, the car company comes to my adress and picks it up.

I'll probably stay around for the time being since i like the community, and to keep up the wish to re-aquire another stinger maybe in 3-4 years again.
But i dont know the twitches my goverment is on pertrol/diesel cars, so the future is uncertain.

In a month ill get an Mercedes Benz EQC 400 AMG Line via my own company (all electric). So ill be able to save up to get my drea house in perhaps 7 years realisticly.

Bon voyage my red beast.

So sad! I hope your new Mercedes Benz is as much joy as your Stinger was. <3

Goodbye to Gargamel's Stinger.

Sorry for your loss. Yes, petrol car engines are getting smaller these days because of emmision laws. Ironically it's part of the reason why I bought a Stinger GT, in a few years we probably wont be able to buy anything new with the engine larger than 2.2L at this price.

Hope you will be happy with the Merc!

There she went away. Now to pick up a rental for a month until i get MB.

I suppose when you are 6 foot 8 tall, any sprain of the ankle is going to be a big one. ;)
I think he's actually 6'9". If he was 6' 8" he'd be called "Door".

That's a doodle sprain, big guy. ;) When was the last time you had a sprain so bad that it turned your toes black and blue? :P

2006, here: exiting Robert the Devil's castle in Normandy. Simply walking away, and my left foot rolled under me; I was on the ground before I knew what had happened.

And I had less than six days to heal up before "The Battle of Hastings". Winingas wrapped extra tightly worked as an "ace" bandage rather well: that, and most of a week walking on it (with walking sticks to prevent further "incidents" on the weakened ankle).

Merlin i knew you were old but i didn't think you were around in 1066. Did Harold keep an eye out for you? Spy any tapestries in Normandy?

Too bad Kia's upcoming sport/coupe crossover with Taycan level of performance won't be ready for another year or so.

But when you get the Merc, enjoy your new ride!

The Stinger is being a harder sell in Europe these days without a hybrid variant, much less a full electric.

Cost of purchase and running the Stinger is Sweden is higher than most other countries.

The 2.2 diesel was never befitting something like the Stinger (it's perfectly fine for the Sportage), but warrant that we won't ever see the 3.0 I6 diesel in the Stinger as Europe has really been moving away from diesel.
