Hey everyone, the pop up is telling me to introduce myself so I am. I don't have a Stinger yet and I joined this forum so I could see what the people who owned then had to say. I'm coming from an 02 WRX and I'm pretty excited to get into one of these cars. I got lucky and a dealership let me test drive a GTS and I am in love lol. I've never bought a new car, I've always paid cash so I'm pretty stoked. Thanks for letting me join and read up on these cars.

I don't have one yet myself, but I also had a 2002 WRX and my test drive of the AWD GT2 reminded me of how planted the car felt. I would suggest test driving an AWD model for you to compare against the GTS - not that you would be disappointed in either model.

The GTS can be either AWD or RWD, depends on the vehicle.

Thanks for the welcome. I really look forward to getting this car and getting out of my subie. The WRX has been a blast and it will always have a place in my heart, but I'm ready for a more adult car... As long as it still performs lol. My subie is loud, rides rough, and heavily modded. I'm getting too old for it
Hi mate, I’m new here too, and have just done what you are contemplating.. coming from an HSV GTS (big loud grumbly manual V8) to the much more refined Stinger.
I love the stinger, I was able to go for the GT Sport trim, which is GT2 in the states I believe. The difference between the two is night day, but if you’re ready for something new like it sounds are really gonna love the Stinger.
I’m about 4-5 days deep and still getting used to it but it’s so refined compared to my old HSV, I’m really enjoying it.
It’s no manual tranny, but performance is pretty good in sport mode.
The only thing I miss a lot right now is a nice exhaust sound and having an audible idle!

I really want a GTS. I just have to hope I can find one when I am ready to buy. Otherwise, I really love the ceramic silver color (I think that's what it is called). I'll take a GT or GT1. I need to save up a down payment so I can drop the monthly payments a bit lol.
