• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Alberta Stingers Check In

If you want to confirm, call a local glass shop, and tell them you want a price on replacing a Stinger windshield. As a result of doing that, I added glass coverage to my initial Stinger insurance policy before I picked up the car. The policy was only a few weeks in duration as I wanted to synchronize my renewal dates.

I don't recall how much that short term extra glass coverage cost, I'm thinking around 20 dollars. Regardless, it was money well spent - the replacement windshield I had installed shortly thereafter, courtesy of a flying rock on the highway, was right around $1800.

Oh, I have glass coverage for sure. Have had it since I owned my benz, which had an all glass roof. Its a must in AB.
Just seems that $2000 is very extreme.

Crossed paths with a white stinger on Jasper Ave around 9am. I'm in light grey.

Found this stuff at Canadian Tire for $27 on sale from $55. Never seen this formula before. Says its for GDI turbo engines, meh, will give it a shot.

Nice looking wheels! What size and offset did you go with?
I transferred the staggered tires onto square 19x8.5 rims with an offset of +32.

The location of the air nozzle is interesting on these rims. The dealer tested the wheel and realized that a different/rare type is required for the wheels.

Are our summer rims staggered? I havent seen mine yet, they've been at the dealership the whole time cuz I bought my stinger in November.

I thought they were but i don't have evidence of it at my fingertips at the moment.

Front's are 19x8 (225/40R19) Rears 19x8.5 (255/35R19)
Hmm, so if I bought square'd rims would the tires fit no problem?

Yes you can move the factory tires to a square rim setup on problem it's just a bit of stretch fit on the fronts with you go with 8.5"
Exactly. The other difference will be how much the tires on the rear stick out. The stock wheels are +34 front and the rears are +46.5. So his tires will stick out 2mm more on the front and an extra 14.5mm on the rear

It doesn’t stick out too much, I added mud flaps on mine.
