Air box Clips

Hello, i have the burger intake installed, the clips that were used to lock the stock box top are still there but not connected and rattle, is there an easy way to remove the clips?

Yes they pop off fairly easy with a little force and can be saved and popped back on if you ever want to return the airbox to its original form.

You can run those intakes without the bottom box as well.

Sure you could but it makes no point doing that. The bottom part of the OEM box acts as a heat shield and to funnel the cool air from the duct towards the filter.

100% true and cant argue the point. Im not a big fan of the look with the box in. I probably should have made that disclaimer

Yeah, flip them up as if you were locking the top piece, then push down hard while keeping them in the up position, they will pop off.
