3.3TT Agency Power Intake Initial Review and Install Video

Tightened the driver side more, I think it’s pretty close to flush, it’s hard to tighten the bolt under the filter so I’ll do tomorrow morning.

Something tells me that’s the more expensive option.

If you keep it in comfort it's actually only noticeable on the highway when passing. Sport makes it happen CONSTANTLY though. They are much louder than I expected as well but I love it.

I tightened before setting filter or it's REALLY hard. I would bet that getting both of those snug fits your issue. Let me know!

Also, I tested these and they took .2 off of my 0-60 so DEFINITELY worth it. Pretty damn good IATs in comparison to stock actually too.

Will post a bit once I install the Velossatech snorkels but I'm guessing that + shroud removal is going to help quite a bit.

P.S. - Went the wife route. It was expensive.

I want snorkels too but after installing these and bending over all day (I’m 6ft) and then installing SSR downpipes on concrete using only ramps, I think I’m done for a while. I’m not even that old (32) and my body is aching.

I've had like four different intakes... (I like to test them). This one is the quietest overall. Torks are quite noisy but pleasing to the ear. Injen was more tonal from the pipes. Stillen was about the same as these but I didn't have the shields on.

Once the ecu adjusted I can tell you the throttle response is noticeable. I rarely get on it for more than two seconds but it feels strong.

I'm glad you tried them. I haven't received mine yet. Give me the heads up. Will I be disappointed going from tork to these?

Hey man I can't complain the tork got me where I wanted to be for the moment. Fast spool time and the sound is amazing someone who doesn't want to spend alot will be happy like I was.

If you wanted to save money you would have done DIY intakes you would spended 50 bucks bro ... that’s what I had for like 4 months and love it .... then of course waited patiently for the AP and Nick has the hook up .... now that you mention that I need to sell the DIY ...

I didn't buy them full price. When I sell them I will sell them for what I paid. Someone will be happy I promise!

I think you will like the AP ones better.

Where did you buy your Agency From?

So has anyone measured the dimensions of the filters yet? Angel was going to when he was rectifying his bonnet issue but I never saw them posted. I'm still curious in regards to their size.

3 inch inside diameter flange
7 inches length
5 inch base
4.5 inch top

They also have the little top part that goes in to give more surface area. Very nice filters imo. I just hate the color.

Is the filter media area 7” tall or is that overall length from to flange?

If 7” is filtering media and an overall 2.5” diameter that would be ~ 149” of filtering area vs ~63” stock ... that’s a nice improvement.

Would you guys say this is the best intake on the market? I’m interested in a intake but I don’t want the extra noise. How loud do you guys find these? I have the k&n panel filters at the moment.

If you don’t want noise, keep your stock air boxes. You will have noise with aftermarket intakes.

However I don’t hear much noise in eco with the radio on. I only hear it when I stomp on the gas or have the radio off, and never while cruising.
