Agency Power CAI help

Ok so I installed an Agency Power CAI and having repeated issues with the driver side filter detaching from plastic intake hose no matter how slight or tightly I fasten it on.

I am looking for guidance from another agency power Cai owner who has experienced this same issue and had luck solving said issue. Don’t want to tape it down but thinking a tacky type of epoxy on inner part of filter rubber gasket may assist in keeping filter in place. Will appreciate any tips short of replacing with another brand.

You would have better luck posting/looking in the engine section instead of the tuning section.

Multiple people have had this. Including myself.

no safe solution. AP plays dumb when you call.

There are a couple threads in this. Best bet is just go with something else.

move never seen such a poorly designed pipe / coupling.

doesn’t matter how tight/loose.

doesn’t matter if you shove as far in the pipe as possible or just on the botched area.

I’m replacing them with JT.

Agreed. A well respected company one would think they would look to rectify the issue ASAP

As I mentioned in the other thread, just use a small amount of E6000 adhesive. That stuff doesn't cure solid, a little force will be required to remove the filter, and the adhesive itself just rolls off (like those snot dots used to hold your credit card against the paper when you get a new one in the mail).

I use that stuff for a lot of various "seal" things because it's removable and doesn't dry solid.
