Hi all,

New here. Getting a Stinger soon and want to transfer my current wheels to it. I'm concerned about too much poke though. Currently have 20 X 9 with 20mm offset front and 20 X 10.5 with 25mm offset in the rear. Gonna poke too much? I like it nice and flush. Don't want to get new wheels but I will if it's gonna poke too much. Wheels are Verde V99 Axis.

Thanks for any help that you can provide! Some awesome cars here.

The definition of "Flush" changes from person to person. With that said... I'd bet money those will poke. Those are sticking out about 15mm more than most people that run those sizes do.

Yeah, the 25 mm in the rear will definitely poke out (too much for me). The front should be good.

Howdy, Peezy. Others have already weighed in on your "poke" potential. :D I just want to say, welcome to the forum.

Where are you? And what trim and color are you looking to get?

Considering getting some wheels-

19x9 +35 265/35/19 front
19x10+35 285/35/19 rear

Tires are toyo r888r.

I'm confident the rims will fit fine, but are the tires too aggressive? I'm worried about the front strut clearance.

Car is a '19 GT1 RWD

265s with a +35 offset won't fit in the front or at least very close and that would be much taller than stock, I would expect some rubbing.

I just orderred those in the same fitment 2 weeks ago.... Still haven't received then yet. You getting any rubbing?

245/35/20 and 285/30/20?
There should be no rubbing with that size

Yeah seems like they will probably poke out too much in the rear. Oh well just an excuse for some new wheels i guess. I'm in Atlanta. Looking to get a white GT2. I know this is the wheels thread but while i'm here, any paint issues with the white? I've heard a bit about the early paint issues and wonder if i need to be vigilant.

White paint has no reported issues. Just be careful if debadging

Carefully check out the paint on your car before you roll away. Look for any pin prick holes in the clear coat; of course for any damage in transit, or chips/peeling/flaking. White is one of the moderately affected colors. But the incidence of individual vehicle paint flaws (across all colors) seems to be well under three percent. No rubbing issues at all. I waited 6 weeks for mine, so be patient. They just shipped over a container a couple of weeks ago from Taiwan and they're fulfilling the pre-orders first. Hopefully you won't have to wait until the next shipment.
