Same here. Got the gtechniq on the body and wheels for 10H hardness. Super shiny and easy to wash.[photo=medium]593[/photo][photo=medium]645[/photo][photo=large]643[/photo]

[photo=medium]649[/photo][photo=medium]593[/photo] . De-badged as well. Now just waiting on parts on order from Korea.

Super shiny indeed. And yes washing a car has never been easier. Try washing the car and finishing it off with a product called Car Pro Reload. 20180211_182438.webp

IMG_20180208_181118_482.webp Car pro reload. Will do. I read about it b4 and that plus an electric pressure washer are in the next list of additions.

How much should I expect to pay for ceramic coating?

So many levels and products available. My guy used Opticoat Pro. I had the older product on my K900 but this stuff is more glossy and supposed to protect better. Sunset Detailing in Orange County is who I used. Great price and James is very knowledgable. Ive referred a lot of friends so James hooks me up. Expect to pay at a minimum of $500 for opticoat pro. Google his page.

I got the paint protection from the dealer. I'll assume it's not ceramic coating and just some basic protection, or can someone verify what Kia dealers use. How much better is ceramic coating than some standard paint protection?

if you got ceramic coating from the dealer you'd know it. they charge $800 for tinting windows.

I did 35% front 15% sides if I remember correctly.

More pics. I'll get some tonight with the lights on. The rear reflectors look good with a tiny square peering through. IMO.

Got mine done yesterday...hard to tell in pics but it’s super glossy
I'm gonna do a ceramic coating, too. Guy near me with amazing reviews has this as a package for $595 and 2 year warranty:
  • Includes full exterior detail and single stage paint correction
  • 1 layer of Ceramic Pro Light on all painted exterior surfaces
  • 1 layer of Ceramic Pro Light on all plastic and rims
  • 1 layers of Ceramic Pro Rain on windshield and front side windows
  • Tire Armor on all tires
Sound like a good deal?

Light is just a glossy top coat. Where the multiple layers of 9h form the hardness and then the cp light goes on top to keep the shine.

But it's a good price for what your getting, including a 2 year warranty.
