Has anyone done independent dyno runs on the Takeda intakes? If so, how does the dyno chart compare with the stock/other intakes?

I placed my order recently. Won't get mine until October. I do know there is another thread where several have either received theirs or are also waiting. I'm waiting for someone's dyno results as well.

I ordered min in mod Aug and received word it would be shipped mid/late Oct. here’s a link to the other thread.

No dyno runs, but changing out from stock filter boxes to these aFe units I can confirm that they have made a definite improvement from OE, car breaths so much better & it is therefore more responsive especially under harder acceleration.

Was the compared to stock intakes with the initial inlet removed and/or VT snorkels or pure stock? Removing the stock inlets makes a difference and so does VT snorkels. I'm trying to find that comparison. These aFe intakes look pretty nice!

No I’m on stock intakes, only upgrade is the aFe filter system every thing else is stock.

Is there a noticeable difference in just your every day driving? Does the torque curve at low rpm seem any different? I’ve seen some intakes that show less torque at lower emp in exchange for a significant boost at higher rpm.

The difference I have noticed is that with the better airflow it has given the car a better air/fuel mix which makes it more responsive & under acceleration it really is noticeable & very responsive.

I have the afe takeda intakes I'm thinking about selling them. I still have the bms and I really miss the sound. You still can hear the afe but not as loud as open intakes.

You can purchase them directly from the manufacturer. That's where I got mine a few years ago.
