I just purchased a Stinger GT1 and want to add limited slip. Has anyone done this successfully?

Congrats on your GT1! As far as I know, I don't know of anyone that's installed an LSD post-purchase. I'm sort of surprised there's not much options out there to add one on, considering they have them out there (ex: Quaife, MFactory, etc.). I'd love to have that with mine.

Other users here have wanted it and some have speculated acquiring a LSD and swapping it in (from a RWD), but none have pulled the trigger from my reading here. It should be entirely possible since the RWD has it, the G70 in RWD or AWD can be optioned with it, and the 2020 Stinger GTS in RWD and D-AWD will have it too.

The only concern is how much it'll cost. Based on what people have paid for piece of plastic trim, headlights, windshields...it'll probably be a 3500 dollar rear end lol.

I'm pretty sure the Stinger would cost about $600,000 if bought in all parts.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Only the RWD versions and AWD system in the GTS.
Tork Motorsports has the LSD (Limited Slip Differential) available to purchase

$895 is extremely reasonable.

I wonder what the installation entails? I'm wondering if a standard 4X4 shop, or performance shop could drop them in.

That would be...amazing for mine

This sounds like a GTS upgrade that Kia could offer to existing owners. after selling all 800 GTS models...retrofit the LSD to the AWD/RWD cars and tune in the programming for drift mode. Just sayin'. Sounds like a 2000-2500 dollar upgrade...I think I'd pay it.

I would pay that too in a heartbeat. Only way I can see that offered is by making noise to kia about it though
