Add ventilated seats after purchase?

Hi everyone! I have a Stinger GT-Line for about 11 months now, but it only came with heated seats. Is there any way I could just buy a GT2 seat and replace the current one to get ventilated seats? Or can I add ventilation to the current ones? It's blistering hot right now in my country and it's going to be even hotter in the coming months, and with the AC on the coldest option, my back still sweats like it's raining. If adding ventilation will result in the loss of heating, I don't mind as winter in my country is like summer elsewhere and it only lasts for 2 months.

They make add on kits, but installation is professional level.

Any idea where I could get them?
Yeah I did quite a bit of research on this to see if I could get by with a GT instead of a GT1.
Your post about how intolerable the seats are without cooling fans was valuable to me. I’ll probably end up going GT-1, rather than trying to upgrade the seat(s). I recommend a professional top rated upholstery shop to install one of these kits.
Stay cool my friend

I used the kits from leatherseats.com in my Cutlass. Very good stuff, but it is a moderate to hard difficulty, also requires modifying or replacing the seat cover.
This is a pretty major undertaking. If you're not already comfortable with interior work and custom modifications like this, then go around to your local auto upholstery shops and inquire about doing the work for you.

I find my factory installed ventilated seats "sucky". Heating works fine, but cooling at max, almost nothing happens.

Ventilated seats are nice (I have a black-on-black Sorento that has seen many long trips in hot summer months) but I will point out, the majority of the air comes from the lower seat area, the effect from the seat back is much reduced. The Stinger is the same, as is every other vehicle I've driven that had them (I used to travel weekly and rent a car most times.)

It's better than nothing but not as good as you might expect.

Airline pilot seats use traditional wool covers, you can still buy them for cars. I know it's ugly, but it might be your easiest and most effective solution. It is, at least, cheap and easy to "undo"..

Mine is a 2018 GT2, but the OEM "ventilated" front seats are WONDERFUL. On the first setting (all 3 lights blue), the seat and the back, clear up to my shoulders, quickly gets so cold it is uncomfortable and I have to back it off to 1 light. The dog loves the passenger seat on full cool. And in the summer nearly every day is over 100º F and many over 110º. I have assumed the air must be coming straight from an air-conditioner duct? My Soul had a little door in the glove box that if opened let the A/C in full blast and made a refrigerator out of it. Kind of wish the Stinger had that, but I haven't pursued trying to mod it. Was perfect for about 6 barley pops.

Oddly, I find the cooling in my seats to be extremely effective. It's so cool that I assumed the seats must have an active cooling element or a duct straight from the climate system. They are the white seats, so that might have something to do with it?

I was out in a small drive around with my car, all 3 dots on both sides, driver side still was and "moist" feeling when i got out

I wonder if the difference is the Nappa leather vs regular? Mine are ok, but not spectacular and definitely don't go all the way up my back.
