Did you get a courtesy car for the duration??I intend to. Cheers.
Yes. A couple Ceratos for a few days each, and now an Optima with 50000km on the clock that's pretty horrible, but at least drivable. The Stinger has spoilt me. Lol.Did you get a courtesy car for the duration??
I love mine too... when I actually have it here to drive that is.If I wanted unreliability I would have bought a Range Rover. But I do love my Stinger.![]()
Well I'm in Australia. I've sent a message to Kia head office today asking what compensation they are going to provide me for all the hassle and will see what they come back with. Thanks for sharing that info. Only prob is Kia servicing prices are sometimes double what my normal mechanic costs so its easy for them to pretend that has more value than it actually does.I had sunroof issues and totaled around 2.5 months in repair across a 12 month stretch. Kia gave me 4 years free servicing which is worth around $2000 AUD. Only raise it to help provide some context / an example around compensation (albeit in Aus).

No problem. I picked the car up yesterday and am waiting for Kia Australia to let me know what they are prepared to do.Agree but nonetheless, four years free servicing is nice and better than some low-ball nonsense. The best remediation I read on this forum from AU was a person who I think was offered a refund or replacement but will be real hard getting that outcome nowadays unless you go through the small claims tribunal.
Let us know how you go as it will no doubt help others in determining "what is acceptable and attainable Remediation".
Nice setup bro, what do you think of the throttle control? I’ve got intake and Jb installed with exhaust in the works but the throttle lag is frustrating. Does this help?Well I’ll kick off this new thread, I did nothing to the car except fill it up & admire it in the afternoon winters sun while walking back to it.
