About that Kia badge...

Should have taken the badge off and IF it snapped bought another one.

For what it's worth I have taken mine off, peeled plasti dip off it, put new 3M tape, and reinstalled it and at no point in the process did I feel like it might break.
Ok, I'll have them try to remove it first and if all is good I'll return the new Stinger badge. But if they remove it, will they need new 3M tape?

I'm sure it could be installed using whatever left over tape is on it but for peace of mind you will want to put new tape on it. Wouldn't want to be cruising around town with half the badge missing and the car having "ger" on the back of it.

By the way, the tape is sold at Walmart for 3 or 4 bucks.

here's something i found on social media that helps show where the holes are. as you can see it can work for both the front and back piece.

I was thinking about this the whole time since I ordered my Stinger.
With this you can keep all the other badges and just change the KIA logo
but does it really work, since the E-badge has Pins on it? I assume you have to grind them all down

really appreciate that find tho

I dont see them? Are they not available anymore or just out of stock and will be getting more soon?
There's an additional two week delay on the badge. However, the steering wheel emblem and wheel center caps are listed if you look through the products. I'll have more pictures as soon as they arrive in 2-3 days. Quantity is very limited right now. If you like what you see, order quickly and I'll send out parts on a first come, first serve basis...

You can get the badges here:
The Kia Stinger Store

I'm actually selling them myself and ship them out the same day you order. I do have a contest going on where you can get the "E" badge free of charge. I could change that to the "Stinger" script for anyone who's interested in that particular badge. Here's a link to the contest:

Sal has incredible service. Super fast communication if you have questions and delivery. He even refunded me when I accidentally double ordered. You won’t find a better guy to buy anything from.

Anyone know where to get the steering wheel “E” badge?

You're very welcome. And that looks great! So much better than the KIA logo - in my opinion...
Sal, do you have these with “Stinger” on them? I made the mistake of buying one from ImportShark and it doesn’t stick at all like the GT ones I got from you for my wheels. Does this one go over top of the Kia badge or replace it? Thanks!

Hey there. I don't actually have these with "Stinger" written on them. I can have them made - but I figured Mike offered them already... I'm surprised his steering wheel overlay isn't sticking. You should let him know. Maybe there's a defect with the one he sent...

He says I have “wax or cleaner” on my steering wheel so that’s why it doesn’t stick. Impossible since interior has never been cleaned. Says they tested it and it works fine. I was extremely careful when applying and never touched backing but it doesn’t stay down on the edges at all. I’m gonna try heat gun again but I’m not feel’in it.

I'm glad I read this. I was thinking about buying one of the "Stinger" script overlays for my steering wheel.

You should make a new thread for a product review so anyone else about to buy the overlay will know what to expect.

Good luck with the heat gun.

From my experience, ImportShark has fast shipping and great communication and others on forums have had good experiences. Me...not so good. Just know that of all the installs i’ve done including rear script and front E badge change, GT wheel overlays and a RC piggyback install, this was the only product that didn’t install and look right. One thing I didn’t try is heat on the the current KIA wheel badge before application. Maybe that would have helped. I can tell you it is extremely difficult to get the edges to stay down. If you don’t mind the wrinkled look on edges and the fact that it will likely only last a few months you may be ok with it. For me, I wasted my $15.
