He prob didn’t even know he blew one. I seen that happen before he just driving regular and I seen his tire in peices so I tried to wave him down to tell him.

Very unfortunate and feel badly for you. That’s the kind of situation where I would follow the truck and make him stop. Not the best idea but that’s just me. Guess this is why some folks have dash cams. Anything involving a bumper replacement is going to start at $1000-1500. Sorry again to hear this happened.

This is why I have quality dashcams in my cars, and why I keep meaning to set up one that can be dropped onto whatever bike I choose to ride. Send a video that clearly identifies the truck or trailer involved, and your insurance company will be happy to "get-em"..

Sorry to see the damage but look on the bright side, when they paint the new bumper the paint will be thicker and won’t chip. I would ask for a couple more coats of clear coat and see if they can adjust the gaps around the head lights so they don’t rub. Also check that the radar cruise control still works as it may have taken a knock.

Holy Crap! That's like getting nailed by a bomb. What are the chances? I mean literally, what are the chances of being right there the moment some trucker's tire explodes? Looks like it was very violent. Glad the car is easily fixed (if not inexpensively), meaning: no body damage, so probably not a lengthy time in the repair shop. Carry on! And may your luck improve!
