Free oil changes for the duration of the 100k mile warranty would be a good marketing strategy for Kia.

-If done every 5k miles it's only 20 changes.
-It could possibly save them money by ensuring proper maintenance is being done on the engine. Less repair work due to proper maintenance should easily recoup the money lost from oil changes.
-It would probably cost them under $25 per change (dino oil) which would only be $500 for the life of the warranty.
-Surely once word got out more people would buy based on warranty/free maintenance alone.

As much as I hate my local Kia service department I'd give the headphones back in a heartbeat for free oil changes.

Couldn’t have said it better, this is our 4th new Kia, nothing from Kia Australia especially after us early guys purchased the Stinger an unknown at full price no discounts, shows we have faith in the brand while Kia is showing contempt for its AU customers.....very poor form.

Just got mine today! I'm in Seattle so my fellow West Coaster should be receiving soon as well. It was shipped from Illinois with a ship date of 05/04/18. That would explain why member on the east coast and central got theirs first.

Hoping mine comes packaged with the "Yellow Edition" photo book.

From another post i believe the press release stated 1st 15,000 get headphones, 1st 1000 get a "Red Edition" photo book and Sunset Yellow Owners get a "Yellow Edition" photo book.
