91 Octane Product Recommendation Please

Not have access to 91 octane and want to get a RaceChip for the 3.3T stinger. Are the only advantages to buying an RS or GTS model the additional tuning maps you get? From what I’ve gathered you get 5 with the S, 6 with the RS and 7 with the GTS. I’m not worried about mobile app as I am not interested in it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Theres no 91 in san diego? I was in the same boat. I decided on getting the gts because well if im going to be spending a lot of money on a chip just get the most expensive one!lol so later if i decide to put in some octane booster ill be set. the app does come in handy. you can change settings without popping the hood.

Hey I think my post autocorrected. I was supposed to say I only have access to 91 octane. Damned sloppy thumbs. I’m probably going to go for the GTS anyway. Buy once cry once.

Yes for sure. I lurked here for a few weeks before I bought my GT. I was on the group buy thread trying to drum up some support for a packaged tune, plug, intake combo. I may do plugs just to do them for longevity.

What is premium in San Diego rated at? In L.A. it’s 91.

Are you and oil catch can? K5 Optima store recommends it for the uncle lao3 chip, however I don’t see this same recommendation on RaceChip’s website.

If I was stuck with 91 and had access to e85, I'd dump a gallon or three of e85 in with the 91 at each fillup.

I never followed through. Swapping the plugs plus tuner for a car on a lease for me wasn’t worth it. Sorry.
