So my question is how much hp with the jb4 tune will add with 4psi-5psi. How much HP does 4psi add?

I know the nearest dyno is 3hrs away. I thought I'd save a full day by just asking on here. Does 7% per 1psi sound right or am I way off?

As it is with most of us. That figure is in the ballpark. The jb4 website has some actual dyno figures from Terry's group. Pretty solid info for reference......as the saying goes..."your results may vary".

There is no direct relation between PSI and HP/Torque... Seem like you would like to be able to tell your friends that your car is at X HP. As car enthusiasm you should know that peak crank HP mean nothing.

Get yourself a Dragy and do before and after ¼ mile time and speed. You will know how much faster your car is and how it could be compared to other cars in real life. Also each mods you add you will be able to tell if is is doing anything.

Two Stinger with identical peak WHP can also perform differently. Entire power curve is important but also if the tune allow the PSI not to drop too much between shift, shift speed, AWD/RWD traction etc.

So Terry, I've been reading in multiple kia forums that you ran the jb4 through all 8 maps with only CAI.Is their any truth this? If so any issues during the runs.? I have a itch that needs to be scratched with running map 2-3 with with 110 racing gas. But im waiting for my socket connections in the mail to gap my plugs. Is the risk greater than the reward? Or do you think I should be ok? Or is this a very Grey area?
