3D Wheel Caps

Don't your OEM wheel caps have a convex surface? These 3D guys are going to mold that with the wheel cap sticker?

Yes the oem caps are slightly convex at the edge , lets see what these look like when they arrive , I measured the width at 53 mm which would cover right to the edge , it may be that 50mm might be better if the new ones are flat , for $20 I'm willing to test it out , we'll see in a couple of weeks . They come from the Ukraine .

Ah good to know. I actually have GT wheel caps in that font on tap for one of the products that we bring out. The Kia wheel cap size is something we've done in the past, so I'm sure it would be an easy thing to do. Right now I'm just gauging market demand to see when to start! Your ideas are definitely helpful though.

If you could do a Stinger cap for both the 18 and 19" wheels I'm sure some guys here would be interested .

The most simple caps would be a basic overlay that's held on by a 3M backing. Personally I'm not a fan, but there's been demand in other markets and the same one would be compatible on both 18" and 19" wheels, so I guess we'll see. I have a feeling there's going to be more people wanting that E logo on their wheels though.

Honestly the E story is a difficult explanation , I think a GT or Stinger wheel cap is the far better course , I would even change the front E badge for a Stinger badge if an OEM quality version was available ...................

Also, do you have a recommendation for the Stinger emblem as far as a design is concerned? Just the "Stinger" font like the KDM trunk lettering badge? Actually I can do the GT very easily just like the above raptor emblems that we did for Veloster people...

Why not try comping up both the GT and Stinger in the correct fonts in the OEM sized oval , maybe try a gloss black background and white lettering .................

...you know you want the Super Stinger! Just move that badge to the front.

Because there are no indentations in the hood or tailgate you have the flexibility to be creative the stock Kia ovals were / are the same as the Optima I would guess

The tailgate emblem is a text badge written out as "Stinger". The hood badge is the "E"...

No no I mean the USDM ones. Aren't they oval KIA emblems? I know the KDM badging is the round E for the front and STINGER lettering on the tailgate. Just figured if the USDM OEM emblems are both oval, then I can make an emblem the same shape but with the STINGER text/logo. (And maybe one of the GT text/logo as well, but that would be a secondary project since there'd be less demand). If the ovals here in North America are the same size on the hood and tailgate, then that would be a nice bonus!
