Can’t be that hard. Disconnect negative on battery (trunk battery). Wait a few minutes. Stick a long flat head screwdriver into the 3 holes. Disconnect the 2 wires. Pull out old airbag. Plug the wires into new airbag and snap new airbag to steering wheel. Ok I don’t have pictures but there’s plenty of YouTube videos on how to replace an airbag. I will swap mine this weekend if the weather is good.

well i really want to know how to do the steering wheel after you uninstall the airbag. So its a two parter. Take out the airbag and install the steering wheel

Done. Easy. This completes the Korean transformation.

Took me about an hour only cause I had some difficulty removing the airbag. I could unlock 2 springs at any given time, but getting the 3rd spring to unlock was challenging - I had to go into zen mode, calm myself, and be one with the force to finally unlock the 3rd spring.

From there it was a piece of cake. 3 wires total to disconnect. The white one just slides off. The purple and pink are released by pulling back 2 tiny orange spring-loaded clips. Just wiggle and they come off. Reconnecting is simply just plugging back in. And put on the airbag by applying a bit of force to push down onto the steering wheel. Reconnect the battery and check everything is A-OK. I didn't lose any of my settings, but strangely enough, the temp went from C to F (as you can see in the pic). Everything else remained the same. IMO, this is way easier and less time consuming than swapping badges. Only challenging part is releasing the airbag. I used a flat had screwdriver but a torx probably would've been better. Peace out.

yes

This would be much appreciated. Thanks

Bumping this thread.

I need to install my carbon fibre steering wheel. Is it true that if we remove the steering wheel, the steering angle sensor has to be recalibrated by the stealership??

Thx in advance if someone knows

Let me know your vin number.
It can be confirmed in Korea Mobis ...
There are two types of airbags.
Brown and black ...
The price is a little expensive ...
Nearly $ 350 to buy on eBay
Where can I go to buy your products?
