Hey gang. This forum is great. I've been on tons of forums over the years for moto and car racing, and I have to say kudos to the amount of useful info found here. Not to mention keeping the useless banter to a minimum. Hard to find these days.

My sister picked up a Stinger GT AWD and these Detroit roads are already beating the shit out of the wheels/tires. I'm looking to switch her to a square set up, moving from 19's to 18's. With the way she drives (HARD AF) she needs more sidewall. If we lived somewhere else, this would be a different conversation.

I've seen an image of @Itsakia going to a square set up on 19's running 19X8.5 +30 using 245/35-19. Looked great, no poke.

The main reason for wanting to try a square 255 set up is so we can rotate the tires frequently to get more mileage out of them. Has anyone run a 255 on the front of the AWD? If so, what was the wheel offset? I'm also a little worried about the 18 clearing the Brembo caliper...

I'm looking at the Enkei TS-10.

If it comes down to it, I know I could just run a square 245 set up. Any/all feedback is greatly appreciated!

Howdy. You're getting "directions" to what you want to know. I'm just welcoming you. :) (I know that the OE rear wheels get run on the front with spacers.)

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. I spent some time on the phone with Enkei as well as Element and it sounds like it's going to be pretty tough to find a 18" wheel that will clear the Brembo caliper.

I'm hoping some folks may chime in who've tried?

I'm currently running 18x8 +35 Sparco Terras for my snow setup and it clears the brakes fine, this probably isn't the look you're looking for though. Basically you need to find wheels that are fairly flat faced with not much lip to make 18s work with our Brembos.

Also, this guy has managed to fit 265s up front although it was quite tight. 3.3TT - "We (I) have the meats"
