22 gt1 stock TCU work in a 21?

As the title says, I might buy a stock TCU someone is selling so I can get tork to tune it. Will a 22 work in my 21 Gt1?
 
It should as long as you don't mix E-Shift with H-Matic. Those are not interchangeable.

That's what I was thinking. Hers the one for sale and here's my stock... I just wanna verify before I purchase.. anyone else out there put a 22 in a 21?

Interesting that the CPTSH2.08.1 codes are the same. Wonder if that’s the programming.

Ya I'm not sure either... That's why I haven't pulled the trigger yet

What's everyone doing out there that have 2 TCUs?? Just grabbing one off eBay? Looking for some firsthand experience before I find one..

Yeah I just sold my spare that I got off eBay. I sent my stock one to get tuned by Tork and didn't want to be out of a car for a week so I used the eBay one while my stock one was getting tuned.

Did ya match up the numbers etc or just go for h-matic or ematic?

I took out my stock one and took a picture of the part number and made sure the part numbers matched to the one I bought.

Ok. That's what I was thinking ... Theres a guy on here selling a lozic tcu. $450.. only has line pressure on 1 tho -5% and no sport plus so it's pretty mild. Debating if it would make much of a difference

Personally I wouldn't buy a used tuned TCU. I'd rather buy a used stock TCU and tune that to my specs or if you're not worried about warranty like I am tune your stock TCU that's been in your Stinger.

Ya I was a little worried about getting a used one .. it's mild tho so I like that. Still debating it
 
I can't speak on Lozic because I don't run it but I really like the Tork Stage 1. I daily drive my car and don't launch often mainly due to the fact I live in a large metropolitan area but I do like spirited driving and the Tork tune gets rid of that lag before the boost kicks in, even in Eco. I used to never touch Eco but the shifts are so fast that even Eco gives you a very decent amount of torque.

Ya I never launch either.. that was my original plan was find a stock TCU and have Tork tune it to stage 1.. seems like the safest setup

If you find one with the specs you want, shouldn't be a problem. There are only so many parameters you can change.
I bought one used from a forum member, best single purchase (besides the jb4) I made for my Stinger.

Parameters are pretty close to what I want... Question is, say they aren't, would I be able to send it to lozic for a retune?

So the only thing that needs to match up is e shift or h-matic?? TCU I'm looking at was in a 2022 GT1. Mines a 2021 Gt1... I've heard it doesn't matter if it's AWD or rwd either

That is my understanding.
