I emailed MBRP and asked them about the exhaust being developed for the MY22 and if the valve function would be retained. As mikegt2 said, they responded very quickly, and had good news.
"We are currently developing a system for the 2022 Stinger. We expect it to be available by March.
At this time the system retains the exhaust valves.
Thank you for your email."
I remember when MBRP said their new exhaust for 2022 models would be ready in November.
No worries, Covid sucks! Hopefully March will be the real release. Someone in a prior thread had also emailed Borla about new exhausts for 2022 models, and Borla is apparently working on one as well.

If I had a 2022 model, which I do not, I'd be looking at an exhaust that gets rid of those tiny tips inside. Was parked next to a 2022 gt-line at Menards last week. I just can't get over how bad that looks. I wonder why they just didn't connect the exhaust on all the Stinger years/models to begin with? Getting a new exhaust with new tips is half the fun.
Just heard back from MBRP on their 2022 exhaust. Seems they don't have any 2022 Kia stingers in their area to test fitment. Stated that is the reason they haven't moved to production. Sounds like a bad excuse.
I have the Jun.BL racing catback on my 2022 Stinger GT. The fitment is perfect and sounds great in my opinion. Jun.BL has a valved catback but the racing isn't valved.
Here is a video I recorded that gives an idea of the sound, even tho microphones do it no justice.

I understand, I'll take some pictures displaying the fitment. Everything lines up but the 22 models have bigger exhaust tips so it looks kinda awkward. But honestly, I love the sound and get compliments all the time so I look past that.
I have the Borla system on my 22 GT1. Unless you want to make some modifications, I wouldn't do it. By saying it "fits" seems like a stretch. The tips are too short and cause annoying cabin noise that you wouldn't want to deal with. I had to get some 304 tubing and weld extensions on to get rid of the noise, as well as add some vibration isolation around the tips because the location makes them vibrate against the fake tips since they are not centered. Wait if you could or be prepared to make modifications. Borla told me that they had no intention of making a system for 2022+ models, which is why I went with this version.

Last I heard they needed a my22 in Huntsville Ontario Canada. So if anyone is out that way you might be able to land a free 22 mbrp catback for helping them test fitment.
Just heard back from mbrp. Supposedly they have a stinger being sent to them to test fitment and in about 2-3 weeks they should be heading to production.

I sent an inquiry to MBRP regarding the 2022 exhaust. I asked about release and pricing, and got the below reply. Sounds like the release is now slated for the summer.
"Thank you for your email.
Our design team is currently working on our S4708304 for the 2022 Kia Stinger I have included a sneak peak of our line art below.
Currently, we do not have pricing available we are aiming to release the system this summer."
