2022 Kia Stinger GT - better but quieter?

Did you park your car on the surface of Venus? :D
Well, in the summer, about 45-50C (113-122F) is a normal thing here. That's the temp in the shade, so I assume it's higher when the sun is directly hitting the car. I literally couldn't touch the sunglass from how hot it got in the holder

Gets 160F in a car here in Vegas during the summer. Some might consider that hot.

I haven't checked the temp inside the car, but in the summer, my face tingles whenever I get in my car.

Thank goodness for the regions that get the factory remote start? Cool the car down before you get in.

No remote start on my Bimmer, but I can roll down the windows and open the sunroof with my FOB. And my sunglasses never get hot because I never take them off my face, looking cool rolling down my windows while approaching the car.

There should pretty much be things exploding behind me, in slow motion. Maybe some lightning for good measure. Honestly it's quite a scene.

Not sure why he left the piped in sound on if he really wanted to hear the new exhaust, also it was set to the loudest setting. Only way to really tell is to turn it off. I’ll have to go drive on myself to see if the really made the interior quieter. That has been one of my biggest compliant on the car, it should be quieter. I noticed it seems the rear is lower and the suspension doesn’t bounce as much as in the previous versions. The might have finally done this car justice, if so, this might pull in some more buyers for them.
The engine sound was off by default on my 2022 in the US.

I think someone at the dealer set it that way. Mine was on the middle setting when I got the 2019. Isn’t it to the max setting when I want to have fun and scare my passengers.

Cost savings?

That is just ridiculous. I can't image a great reason for that, and I bet a huge number of buyers actually use that feature.

Honestly one of the very few complaints I have on my BMW 2 series is the lack of a place to put sunglasses. Honestly, how can a BMW not have a place to put your white sunglasses!?

Manufacturers make some strange omissions...like they don't even understand the buyer.

Wait, what? They removed the sunglass holder for the 2022? I use mine every day, who wants to toss their sunglasses in their console to get banged up. I have a good set of Maui Jim's that look new because they have always been in my vehicle sunglass holder.

Yes, they removed it; it's been replaced by some of the bits for UVO Link.
Why they didn't shove the module behind the dash where there is plenty of space, or under the hood by the cowl, is puzzling. The overhead sunglass console is in the 2022 spec sheet and dang it I want my overhead sunglass console! If forced to choose though I choose UVO link.

I just don't get the ways Hyundai/Kia choose to gimp their vehicles. However I still maintain with the 2022 improvements, it's all quibbling over levels of perfection.

^^Feature removal is considered innovative these days.

In UAE the humidity is worse than the heat. It feels even hotter at night due to the unbelievable humidity.
