Yea because it took them a while..FINALLY!

By the way, thank you for taking the time to put together such a detailed YouTube video of the exhaust in the different modes!Hey guys, I had the opportunity to lend Borla my 2022 Kia Stinger Scorpion Edition as an R&D car to create an active valve exhaust system for those of us who wish to keep the valve. I went ahead and captured as much footage as possible and giving as much comparison between the valve opened and closed as well as how the exhaust sounds overall inside and outside the vehicle. Yes I know the video is long but it should help those of you who can't decide on what exhaust to get make and better decision if this exhaust is right for you, there are timestamps so you can jump to specific parts of the video quickly. Hope you guys enjoy the video and I will answer whatever questions I can.
Only thing I'm surprised by is the 2.25"piping vs MBRP 2.5" pipingFINALLY!

I noticed that as well, but not necessarily a bad thing. They may have determined through their R&D that there is less drone with the smaller diameter piping by a quarter of an inch.Only thing I'm surprised by is the 2.25"piping vs MBRP 2.5" piping
Glad to help out the community best as possible.By the way, thank you for taking the time to put together such a detailed YouTube video of the exhaust in the different modes!
Happy to hear you got yours as you been waiting patiently for awhile. Let me know what you think overall once it's on your stinger.Big thanks to K8 Stinger Store for the fast delivery! Ordered from them Wednesday night and the exhaust got delivered today. Wasn't expecting it that fast, haha.
Will hopefully install it in a week or so.
Thanks bro, yeah your video and info/comments were a big factor! I still was hesitant before seeing the final price, as I really expected it to be a couple hundred more than MBRP.Glad to help out the community best as possible.

We now have this live on our website below:
2022-2023 Kia Stinger 3.3T - Borla S-Type Active Electronic Valve Catback Exhaust
That is correct! The optional mbrp resonators can be paired with this new exhaust?
Thanks for the initial feedback, sounds like this new Borla exhaust is a SUCCESS!! Looking forward to more feedback!Got the Borla installed yesterday. Haven't done too much driving on it yet--mostly city streets. However thus far I am VERY happy.
I was concerned about drone, given the reports regarding the previous gen Borla exhausts for the 2018 to 2021 Stingers. The drone is minimal to me. I only notice it when going uphill, and that's when I don't have the radio on. If you regularly listen to the radio at even a moderate volume you're not going to notice it.
Cruising on a flat surface I really don't notice it at all. It's not completely silent, but definitely not intrusive. I was thinking if the drone was too bad I would need to add some extensions to the exhaust pipes so that they extend more into the tips (or get aftermarket tips). I won't be doing any of that. The exhaust is absolutely fine as is.
When you step on the gas the car sounds soooooooo much better. Pittsburgh has a handful of lengthy tunnels right outside of the downtown area, and I can finally hear the exhaust reverberate off the walls hahaha. I am so glad I waited for this and didn't go with MBRP, which by some reports isn't much louder than stock.
My only criticism thus far is that I don't notice too much difference between comfort and sport modes. There was a larger difference in volume between the modes with the stock exhaust. However the stock exhaust was still too quiet for me even in sport.
Right now it's hard for me to tell the difference between the modes with the Borla. But I know the exhaust needs to break in more, so comfort may end up getting quieter (comparatively) to sport. Either way, I don't have any regrets so far.
Will report aback again once I get some highway cruising done.
Borla made the exhaust to fit the same way OEM does so the tips pretty much extend the same length as the OEM tips.Hows the fitment to the in the OEM exhaust tips? Are they centered and half way towards the end like the stock exhaust was or did you have to adjust the exhaust a bit to go into the tips so it won’t resonate under the trunk?
Here is a quick picture I took.Hows the fitment to the in the OEM exhaust tips? Are they centered and half way towards the end like the stock exhaust was or did you have to adjust the exhaust a bit to go into the tips so it won’t resonate under the trunk?
Awesome. Thanks for the pics. I’m still stock so I’ll have an idea. Here is a quick picture I took.
I never took a pic of the stock exhaust, so you'll have to look at someone else's stock setup for comparison.
