2021 Stinger GT Line AWD $29,956!?!?

Good morning,

I've been at the Kia dealership all this week test driving the Telluride S and was about to pull the trigger when I glanced at the row behind the Tellurides and noticed two Kia Stinger GT-Line...one in ceramic silver and the other aurora black, both AWD. I always admired those cars and wandered over just to take a look. I LOVED the ceramic silver. They are both equipped with the 2.0L turbo and has the sun and sound package. The sticker is $39,875. Nice car.

So I went home and was again perusing the Telluride online and trying to determine what color I wanted. I was wishing the Telluride came in ceramic silver. Man! I love that color. So I click over to the Stinger page on the dealer website to look at that color and was blown away when the price was displayed with a dealer discount of $9,991 bringing the purchase price to $29,956!?!?! Looking further I see they are offering 0.0% financing over 66 months! What!?!?!

Is this like an unheard-of deal? I have searched other dealer web pages locally. Most don't even have any Stingers and the few that are also offering discounts but in the $3,000 - $4,000 range. I am ready to bail on my Telluride search, save myself a couple of hundred bucks a month on a car payment and pull the trigger on this Stinger GT-Line in ceramic silver as soon as the dealer opens at 9:00 am!

Any recommendations or advice...should I be running and not walking to the showroom? Thanks!

Not really anything to lose but time I guess. From my experience, those dealer discounts are bs, but you never know 100%.

Friend at my office just got back from a dealer that refused to give him the internet $4000 discount because he didn't have a Cosco membership. Having a Cosco membership for at least 6 months was one of the requirements for getting this particular car at this particular price.

Howdy. I think that sounds too good to be real. Probably the "discount" includes the Kia lease incentive. They'll start adding on "extras" and fees and costs. But, you won't know unless you try it out. Caveat emptor. Hah.

Holy crap! That's a steal, especially for Sun & Sound and AWD. Are there dealer add-ons? I was fortunate to find my Kia dealer didn't do that. Coming from Honda/Acuras, all of their dealers in my area have at least $1500 in "protection packages" and other nonsense.

Let me know if you have any questions about the GT-Line! I have a 2021 GT-Line (RWD) w/ Sun & Sound. Compared with the GT/GT1/GT2 V6TT models, the 2.0T GT-Line:

• Is plenty quick for the street (consider a JB4 for even more HP) - keep it in Sport and/or above 2K RPMs for the best torque response
• Handles well, being a few hundred lbs lighter than its V6 brothers
• Misses out on some key features reserved for the V6 models, such as LED headlights, electronic parking brake, cooled seats, full-color MID
• Has lower operating costs: smaller, uniform tires and better MPGs
